We stayed at Marriott for 3 days and our package included both buffet breakfast and dinner. This was the best part of the stay as besides all the modern amenities provided in the rooms and the hotel property, it was the food that is worth a special mention. An amazing array of dishes covering a wide range of palates across appetisers, main course and dessert. It is located very close to the airport (just about 2 kms) and is away from the hustle and bustle of the city which is another plus. Overall a wonderful stay & 1 extra star only for the food.

While the hardware at the hotel is modern and efficient, the systems and processes just do not support it. When I checked in, they tried to get me to sign 2 check in forms, both of which had a higher rate than what I had confirmed through the internet booking. Incredibly enough, even when checking out, they tried to charge me Rs 2500 extra per night! the desk clerk said "we have decided to change our billing strategy"!!! Asked for the hotel GM, but he did not show up - too busy to meet with his Customers??? Again, while the buffet lunches and dinners were quite good, when taking an order for breakfast eggs or pasta at dinner, they just say - we will get it to your table, though they have no way of knowing which table you are sitting at. One day it took 25 minutes and 3 reminders to get my egg! The next day, even though the restaurant manager came up and offered to get it for me as soon as I sat down, it still took more than 15 minutes. My kids pasta took 20 minutes. We ordered a pizza, then watched as they served the same pizza to 3 others who walked in after us!
We were supposed to get lounge access, but were told that since the lounge was not ready, we could use the lobby cafe from 4 - 5:30, and the bar thereafter. We went to the cafe at 5:30 and were told that it was only till 5. Finally they allowed us to order some snacks, but after 10 minutes, came and told us that the ones we had ordered were NOT available as complimentary snacks. We asked what was available, and they said nothing - it was all finished - if we wanted something we would have to pay. Then we went to the bar, but kids are not allowed there, so whats the point of saying they were giving lounge access? Better to withdraw it than to insult guests in this way. Never going back to this hotel - that's for sure. Also strongly recommend that every guest MUST check the bills very carefully and make sure they do not overcharge - as they tried to do to me 3 times!

We stayed at the hotel two times in a 4 day span since it was so great. The check in experience was excellent and the attentive staff was wonderful. The rooms were immaculate and well designed for the business/leisure traveller. We loved the breakfast buffet! Also the fitness room had everything you need for a perfect work out. Perfect Hospitality and can't ask for anything more.

I stayed at this hotel in dec 2011 on a visit to Jaipur with family. I believe it had just opened. The staff was excellent and the service even better. I am a Marriott Platinum elite and pretty much got a red carpet treatment. Upgraded to a fantastic suite. The lounge was not open so they gave us access to the lobby restaurants which my daughter enjoyed to the fullest - what with all the lovely pastries on display.
The only reason it gets one less Star (from me) is the location. It is on the outskirts near the airport and not near the city and not much to walk around near by. But overall an excellent hotel and you won't be disappointed

Room Tip: High floor.

On a short business and sightseeing visit i found Marriott a lovely place to stay.
Rooms are good , Front desk and restaurants are good.
Very loud music in the Lounge was rather disturbing , Need to address taste in music .
Indian restaurant fails to serve local cuisine unfortunately and seriously needs to revamp the menu ( they had set menu ) to allow visitors to taste the true flavor of this Lovely state.
Best thing is location close to airport.

Room Tip: Rooms away from the music in the lounge
