“A Top Class Stay”
Reviewed October 24, 2012

We stayed for 2 nights in an Executive Guest Room. Theroom was nicely furnished, but negatives were poor sound insullation, poor hot water pressure in the shower and one of those horrible metal plug contraptions in the hand basin, which didn't hold water at all. The Club facilities were exceelent seving a wide range of food an drink from 5.30pm to 9.30pm. In this respect, we wish to mention the services of Ashish Silswal in Lounge 18 as being outstanding. The brekfast spread was one of the best we have ever encountered.

Room Tip: Go for an Executive Guest Room - the benefits are great

Hotel is located very near the airport and a bit if a distance from the old city. There appears to be lots of development nearby and you can see that in a year or so this hotel will be in the middle of a new commercial area (or at least very close to it).
In the general the setup if the hotel is what is expected of a five star property, however special note has to be given to the area behind the reception area as being being quite a striking backdrop as well as the pool area with elephant water fountains.
The rooms had a tea/coffee station, mini bar and work desk. Free wifi is avail to guest guests but accessibility in the conference rooms itself was an issue (we attended a conference at this hotel).
Breakfast was excellent - in fact one of the best spreads I have seen in India to date (at okra).
The only issue was at times the service was lacking in that the waiters didn't always understand your requests.
I would recommend this hotel definitely, but of you can afford it, rather stay in a palace in Jaipur instead (Marriott is about the same price)

I stayed there with my wife for one night only. We had no idea that Marriott Jaipur would be such a fabulous property. The room was excellent too. What really impressed us was the staff. Hard to believe that in a city like Jaipur, Marriott has been able to hire such talented, smart and caring employees. We had to leave around 4am to catch an early morning flight. Even at that time, the attitude and energy level of front office was fantastic. The only thing we didn't like was the smell of non-veg in their restaurants. My wife just couldn't stand there for two minutes. We had to finally come back to our room and opt for in-room dining.

Room Tip: If you are a hardcore vegetarian, then you should avoid this place. Secondly it's very close to...

Excellent modern hotel, great staff, excellent beds and pillows. Breakfast buffet is very good.
Only issue was bathroom shower, all the water comes out of the shower cabin... great construction problem, it seems all of the rooms have the same problem. Our family had 4 rooms and everyone complained about it. But again highly recommended place.

Very close to the airport, very helpful staff. Rooms are not that big but spacious enough. The locality where the hotel is situated is not that good. Toiletries are not provided for. When you book into hotels of this class, you expect them to be provided, but found it missing here. Breakfast is great @ Okhra. The common places are all well maintained. The water at the hotel is very hard. Overall, its a nice place to stay especially for business travellers. The airconditioning is also not that good. You cant get the temperatures below 20 deg C.

Located just 5 minutes drive from Jaipur airport, the Marriott Hotel Jaipur is a no-nonsense value-for-money property that has set new standards in this quaint historical town. Guests are greeted with the traditional Namaste from the moment one arrives. The hotel is extremely well-appointed in all aspects. Staff at the hotel are very helpful and courteous. The guest-rooms are modern yet exude warmth and comfort, as are the en-suite bathrooms. The ambiance and food the 24 hour eatery "Okra" are outstanding with offerings from all over the world. Of particular mention is the glorious breakfast - a wonderful way to start the day! The hotel offers all the facilities any traveler would look for - lounge bar, business center, travel assistance, spa, pool, meeting rooms, conference facilities etc. A very good hotel indeed.
