“Delightful Hotel”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

I can't recommend this lovely little hotel enough, it is unbelievable value for money. We stayed in the Indus room which was spacious, with separate sitting area and a small but luxurious bathroom. There were lovely touches such as a welcome drink and a computer in the room.

From the friendly, smiley taxi driver at the station to the hotel manager and rest of the staff at the hotel, the service was impeccable. We did have to wait some time for breakfast as hotel is still technically under construction (though we wouldn't have known had we not been told). However, we were warned about the wait and just made sure we ordered well ahead. The breakfast was great when it came, including cafetiere coffee - hooray!

We ate both nights at the restaurant above the original Pearl Palace. Atmosphere there was great and the food was lovely. We mostly ate tandoori veg options. Mr and Mrs Singh sat quietly on the terrace, overseeing operations. It was lovely to see the owners taking great interest in their business and eating their supper there too!

Room Tip: We had the Indus room which had lovely hand-painted murals on the walls and charming pottery lights...

We liked everything about this hotel: location, price, service, quality.

I'd stay here again if I return Jaipur.

We ate two nights at the rooftop restaurant of the sister guesthouse. Really nice ambiance and food is not bad either.

Breakfast in our bedroom was a nice touch.

Around the hotel is not as clean and tidy as the inside of the hotel is.

We stayed for three nights in nilmbr room. The room was beautiful. Sorry mr singh but we dont like to waste water. For getting a bucket of hot water we have to throw two or three buckets of water. The break fast was good. Room slipers can be added. First i was thinking to give a good review..... But the service and care provided by your night mananger narnder and his colleagues was outstanding. This excellent review is for your staff..... All the best for the new year. Hope to see you again...

We arrived in Jaipur past midnight. In spite of what the reservation said, the hotel driver waits for you no matter how late it is. The manager said that security of the guests is their top priority. I was very grateful for that, after the touts approached us in the railway station.

We were given the Jaisalmer room. It was so lovely. The headboard was actually a relief sculpture of the Jaisalmer Fort. The bathroom was very clean and spacious! My only complaint was that the hot water was not working properly, but they were able to address it, so it turned out fine.

I would recommend this place to anyone! Two thumbs up :)

We lived like maharajahs for the three nights we spent here. Pearl palace heritage is an absolute gem, the rooms are beautifully decorated and appointed and the building itself is wonderful. It is worth spending some time enjoying the photos lining the stair case, a potted history in beautiful black and white. Mr Singh's guidebook- Jaipur for Aliens has some great background info. We were very very sad to leave. We stayed in the Indus and Jaisalmer rooms, both wonderful. I really can't speak highly enough of this hotel.

Room Tip: No room will dissappoint.

This hotel is the best example of the cultural diversity that Jaipur and India flourish with. Besides great care, comfort and service, this palace is a piece of art! Mr. Singh has given great attention to details in the way he has brought about this project. Its an eye candy for everyone who has the pleasure of experiencing this affordable and the best stay.

Room Tip: Each room is based on a theme and is unique in itself, but my personal favourite is Neelamber. Its d...
