Many auto couldn't find the location, had a bad experience with the driver who demand more than our agreed price. Luckily the hotel manager give us a helping hand to settle it. The services are good. A pleasant stay.

Located is a quite residential neighborhood and also with in a comfortable distance from major tourist and shopping attractions of Jaipur. A well maintained hotel with impressive collection of period paintings in the stairways and passageways. We stayed in the peacock suite. A virtual feast for the eyes with impressive peacock wood carvings comfortable room and a spacious bathroom with a huge bathtub.
Breakfast could have been better as same fruit platter of Papaya and Banana are repeated every day with limited offerings.Dinner quality was good and the Puppet show was a welcome change.

Sher Singh the General Manager is very helpful with lots of useful tips and advice's on sight seeing and shopping

Room Tip: Stay in 1st or second floor, avoid ground floor Suite as it is close to the reception area.

Yes, decoration and elegance apparently is a high management role here, but with all personnel we had the feeling, they do everything for tips, and that every nice element is just a compensation of sg. With time we get to know some of these. Personnel was very busy helping you, even when told we can manage for e.g. with the luggage, and then they are not moving out of the room waiting for tipping.
Breakfast is fine for all wishes, we had dinner there two times, food was ok,even if they didn't have the dish I wished. We had to wait 30 minutes for a simple soup (there was just one man arriving after us who waited for his dish), and then couldn't start the main dish due to the delay of chapati and salad, which arrived later. Strawberry milkshake was a catastrophe, worst tasteless pink ice-cream powder, and the milk wasn't cold at all.
All personnel wore a military-like dress, marching without any pleasant presence, and smiling - like some nervous tick -just after you smiled on them I even asked if they had some connection with the military, well, not yet.

And the top terrace roof at dinner time could have been great, even with a puppet show, lets bear it if its good or traditional or whatsoever, but you felt like in a trap there, where two rajasthani people were sitting on the floor with their puppets, hitting a drum badly, maybe one of them could sing well, but he was kept imitating some crappy hits of the 90's in english..and always cut them after one sentence- lazy and bored...was very annoying.no puppet show, just if you stare them for a very long time,or they at you, and then you feel you must pay them, even they begin with "ts just 5 minutes and costs nothing".
You eat your food, while they stare at you without making an ambiente- maybe they don't earn as much in a month that you pay for your dinner - and when you leave they busy try to sell their puppets (even for 100 rupies for you)
On the second day two girls said they want to see the puppet show but not willing to sit in the chairs put in a strict row milimeters in front of them, so it happened finally. It was better than nothing, even a bit funny.
How can't a management feel the disturbance of this kind of contradiction bw. a 3 star hotel and these poor beggars on the Roof terrace? I was really willing to enjoy some rajasthani songs, which that men must know, but somehow they feel their presence fits in the elegance?
(anyway I prefer beggars to elegance I could say)
We wondered how many drawbacks they must compensate with all that rigid "hospitality" and art design.

Our room had a window on a dark lichthof, but that's still ok, if you could feel yourself at home.

Previously we've stayed at a 5 star hotel for 3 weeks, and even very basic budget inns with no sheets on bed, no hot water, etc., but this place was the worst from the point of personnel rigidness and imitated elegancy which I hate everywhere.

We stayed two nights at this hotel, a part of the "Haveli" concept, and this is the best of the Haveli Hotels we have stayed at until know.Very nice service, and the waiters are so kind and helpful. The food was delicious and the rooftop relaxed and generally there is a comfortably atmosphere.

We stayed at Naharagarh Haveli in March 2013 . On the first day , there was some confusion about the suite we had booked but it was sorted out by Mr. Sher singh . When we entered the hotel , we expected to be greeted well by the receptionist but unfortunately all we received was a frown from him . I guess the other receptionist was on leave .Well..that was a big disappointment !
Moving ahead..

ROOM:
We booked the peacock suite and it was beyond beautiful. The bathroom was clean & spacious. The only issue was that we didn't have a window facing the main road. It was facing another building. The lighting in the rooms are extremely dim . I hope they add more lights.
The peacock suite is beautifully decorated and attention has been given to every detail.
The lobby has beautiful paintings and the carpet gives a rich feel to the entire hotel,

RATING : 4/5

FOOD:
The breakfast buffet here is below average . Dry toast , Poori , Aloo sabzi/Baked beans , Boiled egg , butter / jam , juice / tea/coffee , They do not offer more than 3-4 items per day .The breakfast which is supposed to be free with the room isn't really worth the hype. Not good for vegetarians .
The service was excellent. They served warm toast specially for us every morning .

Other than the breakfast , the food here is beyond beautiful , if you order it from the regular menu. It tastes like a dream. We ate dinner here almost everyday .

BREAKFAST BUFFET : 2/5
LUNCH - DINNER : 5/5

TRAVEL :
You can either book a cab through Mr. sher singh or call the reception to catch a tuktuk/auto for you. They get a tuktuk in just 2 mins . Mr. Sher singh is an extremely knowledgeable person and will help you out with everything .

ENTERTAINMENT:
Rooftop puppet show during dinner time.

SERVICE:
Overall service here is great!

Almost 80-90% of the hotel is occupied by foreigners and very few indians visit this place. I definitely recommend this place for foreigners and indians . Naharagarh haveli is a safe and secure place to stay even if you are travelling alone . Their deluxe rooms are great as well!

Room Tip: Choose rooms on the first floor. Do not choose ground or 2nd/3rd floor as it will get noisy during...
