Disappointing, sorry but did take my time to write separately to the hotel and tell them about our experience so hopefully they will take some heed. But cannot recommend this property until they get their act together. The architecture is outstanding, the interior design amazing and the location is great, exactly like the pics on their website. But 3 nights of rowdy parties, poor service, dirty pigeon-ridden balconies and poor/no food on the buffet was enough, wish that we had checked out after the first night.

It's a very modern palace designed beautifully and located in interiors off the jaipur agra road surrounded by hills and forest. The rooms were very huge and colorful and the staff was very courteous. There are number of activities that were offered to us from kite flying , horse riding, golf, cycling etc and we enjoyed all of them with our family members. The resort is inspired from jantar mantar and it was like a maze that every time you thought of going from your room to the reception you will get lost , that's why they offer golf karts at call .The restaurant Vajra and bar Chakra are again uniquely designed and the food was great. We were promised Experience at the time of booking and we got more than we expected .I'll keep coming to this resort and would recommend it to all my friends and family.

Room Tip: Choose rooms towards the right overlooking the hills.

Let me start by saying that none of these things by themselves would have been a big problem. After all there's always some little thing that doesn't work out how you might have wanted, even at a five star hotel.

We were booked for two nights here during a tour of the golden triangle. The property is located several km's off the highway. The road there is extremely rough. The welcome was nice. We had two rooms, one for our kids and one for us. After the long hot car journey we were anxious to have showers and relax. Neither of the rooms though had hot water and the taps in the kids room were broken so no water at all for them. The staff fixed both rooms and we finally were able to wash up after the water warmed.

The air conditioning is obviously very high end and cools the room without feeling like you're in a wind tunnel. Unfortunately in both rooms it didn't matter what temperature you set. It just kept blowing cold cooling the rooms to 19 degrees. I ended up just turning it off and on to try and keep a good temp.

Only one restaurant was there so no other choice. Usually we were the only ones in the restaurant. A little claustrophobic feeling with all the staff wanting to help you at every step. The food was good though.

We ordered a dvd from the front desk. It was delivered but the dvd wasn't in the box. We called the desk to ask if they could locate the dvd, maybe in the room of the last guest that used it. Were told that wasn't possible.

Set to checkout with our car arriving at eight am I was more than a little troubled to find the hot water was off again in both rooms. I phoned to ask if there was another room in the hotel where I might shower. The operator lied, telling me that was not possible since the hotel was sold out. He said he would send someone to look at it. I told him it didn't have time to wait for it to get fixed and then warm up. Too frustrated, I took our bags to the lobby myself and was told there that I could have a quick breakfast and then they would have somewhere for me to shower. After breakfast I was sent back to our room told that it should be fine. It was a long walk for nothing because the water was still cold.

We've stayed in a lot of five star hotels and as I said there's often something that doesn't go according to plan but the hotel will use that as an opportunity to show how they are anxious to make the situation better for you. This was completely absent at lebua and is why they are getting this review from me.

Happy holidays

lebua lodge at Amer is indeed a delightful experience.its an contemporary oasis in the middle of no where.not a place for noise wrecking average joes. i would highly recommend if you are the noisy nosy types then spare your self and the other guests by not going there. its a place to do almost nothing. read by the poolside, take a dip and not a plunge. outdoor spa facility is an experience not to be missed.complimentary cycles are available at the reception on request.service is surely with a smile by a young team but is a bit slow.food is nice and basic. but all this gets compensated by the interiors and the exteriors of the property. ideal for a weekend getaway.

Room Tip: if u prefer serenity then opt for a tent away from the poolside..

Am glad we chose Lebua for a short holiday. The property is indeed beautiful and unique. I am particularly impressed with the design sensibility- using local materials, traditional motifs and then giving them a bold contemporary design twist. very nice indeed.
The entire staff -right from the guards at the gate, to reception, to housekeeping, to those in the restaurant - were very helpful and unfailingly courteous. You could see they were well trained to look out for guest comfort and to extend help, but unobtrusively.
The food was excellent. We tried a variety of dishes over our four day stay and were delighted each time - the cooking brought out the natural flavors of the signature ingredients in the dishes and avoided the temptation to over-cook and over-spice, a trap most eateries fall into!

We went to Jaipur after our arrival & first night in Delhi & we were so surprised when our Trinetra Tours driver pulled up into Lebua Resort. Carved into a valley outside Jaipur it was quiet & serene. The rooms were absolutely lovely, clean, modern & cozy, with great AC (don't let the 'tent' thing fool you!). Absolutely everything was to perfection from the toiletries & linens to the fluffy towels that in your room and at the pool all smell fresh & not perfumey or stale. (these are some 'pet peeves' of mine when staying 5 star...linens and toiletries need to match the experience!)

The restaurant was awesome...a lovely variety of cuisine, probably some of the best we had while in India, at reasonable prices. Our kids loved the pool (where numerous birds including peacocks are easily spotted) & the camel ride. We didn't make it to the nearby tiger rescue center, unfortunately.

Service was absolutely impeccable & we felt like 'friends' with some of the staff before we left!
This is not IN Jaipur, but it is absolutely perfectly serene & is a nice way to escape the bustle of the city...we loved it & would recommend it to everyone!
