Certificate of Excellence

We stayed for four days with our two kids - 5 and 2yrs. The stay was pleasant in a nice heritage property. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Property could be better maintained wrt house keeping and cleanliness. Lots of flies in open air dinning place (may be due to rainy season...).
Food is well prepared but choices are limited for breakfast and in-room dinning; kitchen staff is very helpful though. FnB manager could be less pushy and less flamboyant to gel well with a heritage surrounding.
Overall a three star type experience. Worth the money in general but could have been a perfect rating if professionalism was more in housekeeping and kitchen management.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for your review on The Royal Heritage Haveli, this former Hunting Lodge of the family of Jaipur. We serve Continental Breakfast as mentioned on the website- The display serves Tea & Coffee, different types of bread, one fresh juice and one milk shake & hot chocolate, cut fresh fruits and a cheese platter, choice of three type of Cereals, Eggs to order accompanied with Sausage, Bacon & Ham, Pancakes, Parantha’s /Puri Aloo/Poha are the other options in Indian choice, we make fresh for breakfast on the guest request. Regarding your comments for in- room dining, we do not encourage it much as we wants our guest to avail the wonderful open area dine in facilities plus a well decorated restaurant in place. Also while you were with us, we experienced very heavy rainfall during that time and with an open property like ours (not a straight concrete structure) carting food becomes an odd job, but we try our best to please our guest by trying to do a good job against all odds. Nevertheless, our apologies for any inconvenience you were put to.
For the Flies, yes, it is the monsoon and however hard we try, it is difficult to control them in the open, specially should a guest decide to eat outdoors in the monsoon, hence we suggest the air conditioned restaurant and it is advisable to eat food out there. I will definitely check up on the House Keeping front and whatever shortcomings , will be taken care of...
Warm regards.

Arriving late at night into Jaipur by train we were warmly welcomed at the Haveli. Shown to the beautiful and most comfortable 'Green Room' we were sent refreshing cool lime drinks which were so very much appreciated! Spending three nights here wasn't long enough...we were sorry to leave as we were so well looked after in this oasis of Rajasthan. Travelling from Australia through the north of India with my daughter we both agreed that this was a hotel we would return to and highly recommend to all heading to Jaipur.

We stayed here for two nights in July 2013 on a whistle stop tour of Rajasthan - we wished we had been able to stay longer. This small but beautiful hotel oozes understated charm and offers quiet luxury with excellent service. Our large blue room decorated in the vernacular was utterly delightful (up the stairs the pool end) with its own balcony. We ate both nights in the restaurant (the Indian menu) which was superb in every way. Breakfast was delicious, just the best ever and very fresh. This was our favourite hotel stop in northern India. All staff are extremely attentive, nothing is too much trouble and the manager is charming, efficient and most helpful. As others have said - it is a beautiful oasis in Jaipur and we felt good value although we did benefit from off season prices.

The staff is fantastic. The food is great.

As soon as you pass through the walls, you leave the rest of the world behind.
It was nice to meet the owners, who were there every day.
I've been to several top hotels in India and this place was by far the best.

The kitchen stayed open late to accommodate us when I had a guest stop by at night.
I can't say enough about the service.

Also, the driver the hotel provides is great.

This is a wonderful property, an old hunting lodge surrounded by green in the gardens and the flowers. The rooms are very quiet and comfortable, each one unique, and the manager, Raj, is accommodating and gracious. It is a haven away from the exciting, colorful yet noisy streets of Jaipur. it is friendly and comfortable enough for families, yet I could see that for couples it could be very romantic, with the outdoor dining terrace accompanied by the soft sounds from the lighted fountain in the garden below. The food (I only tried the Indian menu) is delicious, both breakfast and dinner, and the chef is very sociable. The compound is walled off from the street which gives it a very cozy feel. The management also provides tour services, and the driver Salim was very informative. A large tiled pool provides gentle relief after a hot day visiting the sights. Prices are also quite reasonable, and there is free WiFi. The overall feel is more deluxe bed and breakfast than hotel, and I would prefer staying there over staying in a more impersonal setting with less charm and history. I definitely recommend Royal Heritage Haveli to anyone traveling in India.

Room Tip: The suites are very comfortable and the royal suite is rather dazzling with Indian craftsmanship and...

Every one there is very nice to us. i love their hotel design and the lovely puppies there.
The manger and the owner both very nice.
There is a lady had helped us to wear the sari. She helped three of us. it is so difficult for us to wear a 6 meter length cloth on my body.
Hotel room is beautiful, the breakfast is good!

But just feel the price is little bit too high when compare other five stars hotels. like ITC hotels, everything is different level, but the price is higher than ITC.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for writing a review for The Royal Heritage Haveli, this former Hunting Lodge in Jaipur.
We are happy to know that you enjoyed your stay with us. I have noted your remarks on the price front. Please understand, we are a 11 room property- a Boutique Hotel with gardens on differrent levels and the hotel spread over a large area. Had we been a concrete structure with 200 rooms, our stand would have been different and in line with your expectations... Being a small Boutique property, we ensure, every guest is personally met and (try) see to it that they have a comfortable and memorable stay with us. We sell an experience and not a room only.
Warm regards

The Royal Heritage Haveli is a beautiful oasis in Jaipur. This was our introduction hotel to India and it really couldn't have been better. The hotel itself is stunning, an old hunting lodge full of charm from a more peaceful era. The staff, all of them, were wonderful - completely professional, yet friendly and willing to help in any way. Our rooms were a dream, spacious and elegant. The hotel is a boutique hotel, with a stylish, individual design. The hotel restaurant was elegant and the food quality and choice, superb. I cannot fault it. Thank you for adding so much to our beautiful experience of incredible India! Completely recommended to the most discerning of traveller. Cressida
