We decided to stay at this hotel after reading all the positive reviews from other travellers and we were not disappointed! The hotel is beautiful with a homey feel, the staff very warm and friendly, the rooms clean and spacious with good amenities and the icing on the cake was an outdoor shower! The cold weather (8 degrees in the evenings) did not deter me from taking a lovely hot shower under the stars! Pre-dinner drinks were served whilst we sat around a fire which was a nice touch and our meals were very very good... we ate like Maharajahs! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Jaipur... it's worth every penny!

We stayed only one night but it was a very good experience. The hotel is a bit of a hike from central Jaipur but quite fine - Raj the manager welcomed us warmly. The grounds are lovely and the upstairs terrace is excellent. The rooms are are simply but comfortably appointed. Very good cable TV with heater and aircon. There is some noise from trains, etc. but this is India and i think a lot of hotels will have this issue - not a big deal for us. At dinner we sat around a bonfire with other guests while complimentary drinks were provided - quite unexpected. We had dinner outside on the terrace - good quality Indian tucker. There were a lot of fireworks the night we stayed as there was an OTT wedding being held at the City Palace - amazing. Brekky was good basic tucker - they even had vegemite ! We would have happily stayed longer but we had to get back to Delhi. Very nice management.

everything here was perfect from the hospitality of the hosts and their staff to the carefully appointed rooms to the fabulous fire at cocktails to the pool to........ such a relaxing place to stay. a bit away from the frenzy of the city but conveniently located, a great place from which to explore jaipur. some have complained about train noises, but really, that is nothing in india where all drivers honk their horns constantly. found this restful and wonderful. would go back in a flash.

This is a delightful hotel, with very courteous staff. The room was lovely and spacious with a very comfy bed. There is a small pool, which looked nice and clean, though too cold when we were there. Not cheap by Indian standards, so one to splash out on if you feel you deserve some luxury!

It is a 20 minute auto-rickshaw ride (80-100 Rupees if you haggle hard) from the railway station, and there's not much around the hotel, so expect to stay there for your food - no real hardship as the food was very good, with a wide selection. Just don't feed the friendly bassets - they don't need it!

A great place to stay. We felt very welcome- all the staff were very hospitable.
All the rooms are individually decorated - I managed to see quite a few and they were all lovely. There is a little traffic noise but the hotel is set back off the main road. I hear the rooms are being sound-proofed. It's best to get to the hotel before rush hour as the traffic is terrible.
We loved the gatherings round the fire for (complimentary) pre dinner drinks and appetisers- a great way to socialise with fellow travellers.
The breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip- quality jams, fresh juices, good range of teas, eggs cooked to order...
Dinner was also very tasty. The pool area looked good but it was too cold for me to swim in the evening in November.

The highlight of our stay in this lovely Haveli was the excellent care one receives from the moment you arrive. Welcomed personally by the manager on duty, led straight to our room we felt comfortable straight away.
The Haveli, as the name suggests, was a stately older style residence. It has been converted into a hotel, whilst maintaining it's residential charm.
As mentioned in other reviews, one is drawn pretty fast into a feel of "Home away from home". You may socialize with fellow guests at the complimentary pre dinner drinks by the bonfire (Winter time, of course).
The indian meals at the restaurant were very fresh and tasty.
The accommodation is fine, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Excellent base for a couple of days of exploration of the special pink city of Jaipur.
One may note though that getting to the old city requires transportation, as it is not in a walking distance.
Thanks again to Raj and all other very gentle and friendly staff members, always happy to help!
