“beautiful hotel & royal atmosphere”
Reviewed January 23, 2012

The hotel is very beautiful and location very quiet. The staff was very helpful also with tips for sightseeing of Jaipur. All rooms are different but all very nice and with very interesting typical heritage interior. Very good choice in Jaipur!

P.S The dogs are lovely:)

This hotel is amazing. The staff are very nice, caring, informative and efficient. Our room, the royal suite, was amazing - large with a comfortable bed. The nights were a bit chilly so a heater was provided, which worked very well. There's a cocktail get together every evening, which was very nice as you didn't have to join if you didn't want to, but we did and met some very nice people. It's also an opportunity to meet the knowledgeable and very charming owner of the hotel. The booze flows liberally.
The food is amazing, although there's no menu, the chef provides an extensive option of fantastic dishes to suit all tastes.
A really amazing experience that made our trip to that part of India a real success. Thanks to all at RHH.

My Husband and I did a 3 city tour of rajasthan, starting in Jaipur. We picked this hotel based on some of the reviews and the idea of staying in a haveli was also very appealing. Getting there from the airport was quick, took us about 30mins with traffic, which was great. On arrival, we were directly taken to our suite (we stayed in the blue/honeymoon suite), which was beyond words! It was so elegantly done, it was our own little palace! They got us some snacks right away as they knew we had been travelling, which was nice. The staff is unbelievably amazing, so helpful and nice. We missed breakfast the next morning and they were nice enough to bring it to our room.

The food here is so amazing, that we ended up having dinner there all 3 nights, plus the meal is quite affordable. In the evenings, the owner, Pradip Singh, mingles with the guests and makes them feel at home, the ambiance created was so perfect. Staying somewhere like this was worth the money and better than a standard Taj or Oberio. The personal touch is what makes this hotel. The staff made us feel very much at home, the service was very good and they went out of their way for us, which is something you dont get very often.

Fyi- there are 3 dogs, they are super friendly and playful!

If we ever go to Jaipur again, we will stay here !

I picked this hotel based on the Tripadvisor reviews. I was very happy with that stay and extreemly pleasent stay. The rooms have all been fantastically refurbished with modern amenities such as a water heater and spotlessly maintained. There was a pool but it was too cold for us to use. The breakfast that was served was very good with additional options available to order including in the Menu. One morning I explained how my mother was under the weather and did not come for breakfast, the manager immediatly asked what would she prefer to eat and got that made and sent it up to her room ( real personal care and service). The restaurant has a selection of regular items however they prefer that you eat the set menu as its the most pricy.... We did try the set menu with a group of 5 and the food was just way too much and we could not even consume half of it to do any justice. The manager Mr, Nair is truly a gem of a person who goes well above the call of duty. He made sure that he check our train departure times, he had some good suggestions on how to see Jaipur in the limited time of 2 days.I will most definitly retun and stay few more days at the Royal Haveli

Room Tip: Choose the rooms at the back as they are less noisy due to the street trafic

This is the heaven. It's unbelievable and unforgettable. Everything is very well curated. The haveli is full of charming and warm atmosphere. Everything is clean, very clean. The staff is quick, nice, ready to help you in everything. The breakfast is the best and also the dinner. All the food is fresh and cooked with the special dishes of Rajasthan. The owner follows up every single detail to satisfy at the top level the guests. This is a unique experience to come here.

I actually found this place through tripadvisor myself. I had dreamt of the experience of a heritage hotel in India, with a very personal and intimate service. This place exceeded my expectations by far.
The building is very pretty, a former hunting lodge, with beautiful terrasses/gardens.
The rooms were charming and perfectly maintained; ours had a beautiful shower, with deep blue local ceramic.
But what really made me fall in love with this hotel is the service and general atmosphere. The owner warmly welcomes you, the manager is incredibly committed and efficient, always available, the staff is very helpful and friendly.
The best thing was the drinks organised in the evening, with the owner and other guests, around a fire, under an old tree, with traditional music in the background. That was just magical. Both dinners, which really felt like we were guests of the family, were delicious and varied.
The drive to the city is about 20 minutes, it is very easy to find a car through the hotel; we took the car for the whole day and went to Amber palace and Jaipur. I found the distance to the city to be a blessing, Jaipur being very dusty and busy. A quiet retreat in the evening was the perfect balance.
