From the company's website: "The world famous 'Pink City' is favoured equally for its vibrancy as well as its arresting monuments. Be mesmerised by the city as you fly over and absorb its riotous cocktail of Colours, Forts & Palaces."
Seeing the pink city from the air with the added pink light that happens at sunrise should have been amazing. However, they don't take you anywhere near the city. The take off location is around 40 minutes drive from the city and the ride itself is basically over farm land. We could see one of the forts way in the distance, but that was it. Nothing pink, nothing resembling a "city".
Our family of 5 adults did the Sky Waltz balloon ride "over" Jaipur in March. Every one of us were disappointed. 2 of us had been in balloons before and 3 of us were first timers.
The kicker? The "approximately one hour flight" clocked in at exactly 36 minutes. We were shocked that it was over.
I'm giving this an average rating only because the staff is good and if you have never been in a balloon before, it is a cool experience, but if you are hoping for the magic of the pink city in the early morning light, then you might want to save your money.
