Really beautiful rooms, clean bathrooms (although wished they had changed towels more often), decked out with a/c, widescreen tv and satellite, centrally located and staff were helpful, although not all were english speaking. Nicely priced.

Excellent place to stay at the centre of Jaipur. The decors are good and everything quite clean. The property is spaciaous and the hospitability is good. Food is homely though bit expensive. Overall we had a fun time and would reccomend it to others.

Admiral Madhvendra Singh who owns this beautiful B & B ensures that all guests are looked after very well. He personally interacts with them. All details are meticulously worked out.Devi Niketan is one experience that has to be gone through to appreciate its fine merits. Absolutely 5 star comfort at very affordable rates.

Fabulous ambiance and setting..We were eight families with kids and we enjoyed the barberque and bon fire on new years eve..The kids had a perfect garden for cricket, the rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms spacious and very clean..A must do get away in a place like Jaipur..

Devi Niketan is a heritage hotel, very well situated in Jaipur.
Not a lot of rooms but all of them are personal one, well decorated; the environment is calm and pretty, the swimming pool is big enough to do some training if you want....or beautiful enough just to rest.
Last but not least, the hosts are charming people, speaking a more than perfect English English. We highly recommend that hotel to everyone.

We spent two nights at Devi Niketan and had a wonderful time. This heritage property is extremely clean (special mention goes to the outstanding bathrooms) and elegantly furnished, with Rajasthani touches and memorabilia from the Indian Navy. This perhaps surprising combination occurs because the proprietor is a former admiral from the Indian Navy and he certainly runs a tight ship at the hotel! The staff is extremely prompt and courteous; the food wholesome; and the pool inviting. If you decide to stay here, you will also come across Sheru, the pet labrador who is decidedly friendly and loves to greet the guests. We'll definitely be back.

Devi Niketan is a family owned and operated Heritage Hotel in central Jaipur which was inaugurated on April 2008. It stands on a big plot with large, lush green lawns in front and rear of the building, a large parking area and a swimming pool. A double storied heritage house, it is part of the 140 acre estate of the former ruling family of Chomu. Adjacent to Devi Niketan is "Govind Niwas", the residence of Admiral Madhvendra Singh and his wife Kumu, who own and run "Devi Niketan". Govind Niwas too stands on a big plot with plenty of greenery. Taken together the two properties stand on a two acre estate which gives a feeling of space and tranquility - even though it is surrounded by a bustling city. It is in a "Happening" neighbourhood with plenty of eating places, Ayurvedic massage parlours, shopping malls with food courts and movie theaters, banks & ATMs, gyms - all within one kilometer. While we do not have an a la Carte Restaurant, a Buffet Breakfast is available and Dinner is served if ordered. ... more   less
