I had heard a lot of rave about this cafe, specially from my wife, she's a regular here. We were there for a sunday high-tea, after a movie. Seems like a decent place, quite popular among the foreigners and elites in Jaipur. Tables are often hard to find but we were lucky.
I ordered Pita Bread with falafel while my wife got herself something made of corns.
Positives first: The corn dish was fine, they were served with 2 dips which tasted very well and so did cheese cake. The mascarponi Cheese just melts in your mouth.
And that's all for positives, I'm afraid.
Negatives: Service is bad, you can't expect anything to get to your table on time and you may have to repeat yourself.
The servers don't smile, well they just don't...ever
Pita Bread is always supposed to be fresh and warm, always. They served us fridge cold bread, didn't bother to even warm it in the microwave. While falafel was hot inside, the overall taste was dismal. The humus must have garlic tase coming out of it and oozing out Extra virgin Olive oil from it. Sadly, it was well short of expectations.
I guess it may be good for just sipping coffee and nibble some cake, not for any delicacies that they offer.
They need to work hard to invite me back
