A very nice place to have great food.I prefer fish and have tried the different options.they are really mouth-watering and we really enjoyed. The sutffed pomfret and crispy fried prawns in starters is recommended. And the main course dishes prepared in coconut are really tasty.Yet to try the chicken and mutton dishes!! And be pleasantly surprised with a warm greeting and a pat from Dr.Awchat himself !!

After missing Goan food, its an awesome feeling to feast on the food from Goa Portuguese. Love the pork & beef dishes. Even the veg dishes are a must try.

The reason why we come to Goa Portuguesa in Bombay is to seep into the famed Goan laid back charm immersed with popular konkanni and Portuguese music; but not only are there only 3 Goan staff who will give you that feel but the ambiance sans the Goans is like visiting a restaurant in the museum.... no wonder there were only a few people dining in it.
Though the Chicken Xacutti tasted divine, it did not add up to the total ambience which is why we come and pay high costs. The Management should look at their business as an over all experience rather than just our wallets.
Goans are famed for their smile and hospitality, something seriously lacking here. Rather than a local, I felt like a tourist.

Great food and atmosphere. Although of course, after a long time in Tajikistan I might be a bit less critical, I really enjoyed coming here. Nice service also!

My Indian colleague brought me as this place is apparently known for its cuisine and I was not disappointed - it was spicy and delectable!
