Started in the early '70's, this delightful restaurant has never looked back. Famed for its succulent kababs - perfectly cooked to the right texture, its lured me back innumerable times. Moreover, its dishes are not pungent so its safe to bring along guests from abroad who want the real taste of India without their eyes watering. Their signature dish is Burra Kabab - takes awhile to come to the table but absolutely worth the wait. Their butter chicken is delicious in its rich tomato gravy (a little too tomatoey though!). Watching chefs cook the kababs and flick rumali rotis expertly through the open kitchen while we wait, is a great idea! I've also had their lunch buffets several times which does not disappoint either. But its the kababs that draw me there again and again!
