The single big complaint is that no reservations are accepted for the ground floor. The food is almost always excellent, with large portions (though occasionally served somewhat cold). The deli counter has excellent fresh imported meats & cheeses, but rather absurdly priced. But all in all, consistent quality of food. The Panzanella Salad & Eggs Florentine are always great!

I lived in Mumbai for a couple of years and now visit 1 or 2 times a year. I stay near Indigo Deli and have been there a number of times since it opened. I went again today and was maybe a bit more critical than in the past. Firstly, the food is good and well presented which is why I have returned a number of times. However, today I realised that there was nothing Indian on the menu and that includes Indian fusion or even Indian influenced. They had Harrisa chicken but nothing with Indian spicing which seems odd in an Indian city.

I usually don't look closely at tbe bill but today I was on my own and ordered a single item that cost less than 500R but ended up with a total bill over 700R. How can this be? Well for a start they charged 125R for a bottle of water. By my calculation that is around 500% profit. They also add "service charge". It is not uncommon to add service charge to a bill in the US for large parties but never for a single person. Why aren't all costs covered in the food charges. It isn't as though the diner has a choice on whether to pay it or not so it might as well be in the price that is shown on the menu. It seems like a way of disguising the true cost until the bill arrives.

Anyway, the escalation of the bill while not high in itself seemed unnecessary, particularly the daylight robbery of the mark up on water and it left that sort of bad taste that will probably prevent me ever going there again.

We wanted a Western breakfast and this is the place to go in Mumbai. Cool environment and good service plus a nice breakfast made this deli perfect for us. Granted this is not the highest level of cuisine but the food is very good and the atmosphere has a good vibe.

The food at Indigo deli was just ok, but the desserts were mindblowing! The Banana caramel pie and the triple chocolate mousse are especially recommended. For main course we had baked mac and cheese and a pasta which were not very good.

I had heard a lot about Indigo Deli, but the value for money is pretty low.. the pastas are bland with no sauces, portions are small and the ham sandwish is too cheesy and salty
