“Excellent ohh my my........!!”
Reviewed February 22, 2014

Bademiyan is a small joint near to Gateway of India and what a place it is. This place is heaven for meat lovers. However, my dear vegetarians don't worry they do have some veg food for us.

Do try their Seekh Kababs, Butter Chicken and Roomali Roti (like a silken handkerchief), Aloo and Paneer starters.

Prices are a bit on the expensive side considering the quantity however, the food is mouth watering to say the least. It's amazing and one of the best street foods in Mumbai!!

There can be huge queues if one happens to visit the place after 7:30 pm on weekends. So, make it a point to visit early in order to avoid the late rush.

“Contrast”
Reviewed February 19, 2014

Staying at the Taj Mahal and eating at this street food venue doesn't appear to match. But it does - both are real cultural experiences and I wouldn't have wanted to miss either.
The Taj has to work hard to get 5 stars for the price it commands. At Bade Miya a dinner for two costs USD 10. Put into perspective and considering the food they serve I am happy to also give it 5 stars.
You can tell that it's an institution by the amount of locals that frequent it. The decor is "basic" at least but the crumbling walls and naked ceilings are pretty cool even though this is an accidental effect.
Service is efficient and with a smile and we thoroughly enjoyed out meal - Lamb kebabs, spicy paneer and veg biryani.
Definitely worth a visit.

“Heaven for meat lovers”
Reviewed February 14, 2014

I had been to the Colaba outlets several times, but when my family wanted to visit this place I chose to take them to their Kalaghoda outlet.....more from the ambience point of view, convenience etc. The food comes from the Colaba outlet. The Kababs just melts in your mouth and overall it was a pleasant experience....tasting same street food in the convenience of a restaurant. Guess they could go a bit easy on the pricing...on the higher side I would say.

“The Unwinding -III { Mumbai }”
Reviewed February 13, 2014

One of the best places in South Mumbai to have a late night meal. While the place is a bit expensive you receive value for money.

This is one place that you cannot miss specially if you are hungry post dinner hours !!!!

Recommended for all visitors / travelers visiting Mumbai for the 1st time
