Not at all a good hotel. Stayed here while in Mumbai in 2007 and had a really disappointing experience. Its in a dodgy looking area. Arrived late afternoon/evening time, our taxi driver recommended this hotel so we just thought to give it a go as we hadn't booked anywhere before hand. When we booked in at reception there were call girls sitting in the reception and some creepy guy tried to go in the elevator with us. The room wasn't ready and we could see it was filthy and wasn't cleaned up from the last people, cigarettes all over the rooms, mess everywhere. However i admit they cleaned the room up within 15 mins and it really was spotless when they finished you wouldn't of been able to believe what the room had looked like 15 mins before. However that was the only good thing. As soon as we got in the room we Realised the room had just a tiny little lock on the top of the door(could of been busted with a push from the other side no problem so not very safe), the room was basic to be honest just a bed, desk, bedside tables, wardrobe, cant remember if there was a TV. There was no hot water, if you called reception someone would bring a couple of buckets of hot water for you, not really useful if you want to take a shower,in the evening there were people shouting down the corridors and knocking on the doors, if i had been awake the whole night i would have been terrified luckily we were both knackered and fell asleep and didn't wake till morning. We then just packed our luggage and left. Definitely wouldn't stay there another night. The price we paid was Quite expensive for the state of the hotel to be honest. The manager also was argumentative and tried to say we had tried to book in a day before without a password which was funny as we had just arrived in Mumbai from Gujarat that day He obviously thought we were trying to con him or something. So you could see the sort of people that obviously usually stay in this hotel.
