“Perfect option if you have an appointment with the US Consulate”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2013

This place is very close to the US Consulate buildings and is a good option to crash for the night especially if you are on a budget. The location of the hotel is close to the Bandra Railway station, so you could expect all the crowded-ness associated.

The rooms are small but I found them to be clean. The staff was helpful and a 40Rs. rickshaw ride could get me to the consulate. And the price too is good compared to other hotels in Mumbai.

The hotel is a budget place and caters for those who have tight purse strings. This was our first stop for our year long travelling around India and Asia, we arrived at approximately 2.30am which was not an issue. The place doesn't look at all like the photo of the front if you are arriving after the restaurant has closed as the shutters will be closed, which was very confusing to begin with but made sense the following day! The restaurant serves good food and fantastic milkshakes. Rooms are clean and I personally would say the pictures do not differ to those on the website. Staff welcoming and friendly. Very close to train stations. The manager arranged our train journey to Goa as we'd had a lot of difficulties trying to do it online (same everywhere in India it seems) and also a pre paid taxi. 55 rupees (50p) In a tuk tuk ride to west bhandra for any supplies you may need, the hotel is in the east of the area which does not have many local amenities though. Recommend to backpackers on a budget.

I could barely fit into the bathroom. The room was pretty small too. But cleartrip gave me a discount of Rs 300 per day. The staff were friendly. And everything was sparkly. But there were some insects (mainly ants) running around. But they have a restaurant downstairs. And on the opposite side of the road there is a internet shop or whatever it is called which was handy when I needed printouts.

Close to BANDRA TERMINUS, by the footbridge over it, close to BANDRA COURT, BKC, WORLI SEA LINK. Rooms are tidy, clean, foods were proper, breakfast mainly from restaurants on the other side of the road brought by the room service. Good for one two night stay or if one is planning for a MUMBAI tour on a budget, at their own [without any agency].
Was provided free pick up from AIRPORT.

This place is only meant for Indians to stay for one night when they are coming to mumbai from other state and have to appear at U.S. Embassy for personal Interview. This hotel is a budget and most economy hotel to stay in Bandra area (close to U.S. Embasssy which is in BKC-bandra kurla complex) and most preferred location by those who are appearing for a personal interview and OFC at US embassy. When u enter the hotel, u can check the register. most of the visitors have written 'Visa Purpose' in the column of purpose for visit. The entrance of the hotel is very tricky. From outside it looks like a restaurant. You have to actually go inside the restaurant and there are stairs which led you to first floor where the reception is. The rooms are smelly and bad and the resturant down the hotel is also costly (rs. 20 per tea) you can get cheap and good quality food elsewhere. Do not leave your costly belongings in the rooms. The staff and overall management is careless. Do not get charmed by the fotos of this hotel the management has put on their website and on other websites. The hotels looks and appearance are very different from the fotos they have uploaded everywhere. The overall review is poor and dirty, but ok for an overnight stay in mumbai just for Visa purpose at US embassy. Visitors and Travelers to India from abroad, please avoid this place and do not stay here.

Room Tip: I don't have any suggestions to give for this.

The only pro I can find for the hotel is that its proximity to Bandra Terminus, Station and Bandra Kurla Complex.
And the list of cons:
- Hotel Management Staff: Too much aggressive, uncooperative and unfriendly, always finding ways to overcharge you for no apparent reason. You'll start loving room service staff, believe me!!!!
(I had to extend my checkout time by 6 hours, and they charged me 80% of the room amount, in spite of the hotel being empty.)
- The hotel is too cramped, the rooms are small, and bathrooms are rat-holes.
- There's always that stinking smell coming from around the hotel, thus making getting in and out of the hotel worse.

Seriously, don't waste your money on THIS!!! NOT RECOMMENDED.

Room Tip: Don't choose this hotel.

It was a horrible experience staying at this hotel. The surrounding area is very unhygienic and smelly, the rooms are congested and crammed. No walking space in the room..I hurt my leg trying to move around the bed twice and had the soreness for days!! Not worth the money!! Stay away from this stinky place..Only good thing was that it is walk-able distance from Bandra station
