This is the most crowded place in Mumbai on a Tuesday. You have to wait in the ques for few hours to see the God Shree Siddhivinayak. To cut short your time, you can pay RS.50 and enter through a special gate, and save your time. The Bombaite believes, that 5 consecutive Tuesday visits ensures that your wishes comes true. Hence the crowd. Once you are inside the temple, you will forget every thing and your eyes and mind will focus on the tiny Vinayak, who is all powerful and gives you a calmness, you have not experienced before. Of course , you should have the faith in Him.

SVT is a wonderful place of worship and a must visit for all. The Siddhivinanayak deity indeed has great powers and being in His very presence is awesome. Hindus and others alike will be impressed materially and spiritually when visiting the temple. Be prepared for large but very well behaved and disciplined crowds, and it will be an experience of a lifetime

It was about closing time and there was hardly any crowd. I had a wonderful visit to the temple. It's pretty well organized, unlike most temples across the country and you are not immediately tormented by touts.
