I recently visited this restaurant.
The atmosphere is top class and quality of food is just another level up. In my whole meal, dish that impress me with the taste is nasi goreng. Which is suggeted by Mr.kedar. he's so attentive and well trained. I'll definitely recommend this restaurant for your date or family occasns.

I recently visited Imoerial China when Hilton completed their 100years. With passing years, I can only say this place has always maintained it's class and quality of food❤️

Here are some of the best haves from my side(if you're a non veg lover)

1)Smoked Chicken & Shrimp Dimsums for appetizers
The smoked chicken is basically chicken chunks wood tossed with burnt garlic, it's not on the spice side so it's perfect to start with. Also the shrimp Dimsums are legit a must have and they're so soft and will just melt in your mouth.

2)Asian Clear Soup
Well, one can never go wrong with a clear soup. I order the shrimp one. The quantity is served for 1 person so there's basically no way of a 1/2.

3) Mixed Seafood
I would recommend to simply eat the mixed seafood as it is so filling and rich with softest scallops, shrimps and squid. Otherwise, the mixed seafood is literally enough to fill up one person completely, if you're looking to eat it with something then Nasi Goren would be the best option.

5)Darsan for Dessert
Nothing is better than ending your meal with honey glazed noodles and vanilla ice cream. A classic dessert that never gets old!

A place that lives upto it's name and their Mixed Seafood is literally enough a reason for me to visit again!

Let the food help you travel across the country. Experience China while dining at Imperial China. The restaurant launched an all new menu to celebrate HiltonMumbai's milestone of heading towards their 100th year celebration.

The restaurant architecture is a lively blend of colonial design with contemporary features, reflecting a European influence.    The roof of the place has  moving Chinese fans, while the fine-dining is in brown and white hues.

The staff is very cordial and attentive to take care of your needs and make sure your visit is thoroughly looked after.Chicken imperial dragon soup - This is a thick creamy soup which has the right texture and taste. It is not spicy at all but has good taste.

This is what all I tried; started with red wine and mocktail called strawberry field, both of which were quite refreshing and goes well with the food.

Smoked chicken - wood smoked  boneless chicken chunks were tossed with burnt garlic. The best part was the aftertaste which was indeed smoky. Highly recommended.

Duck stir fry - Here the fried duck was cooked in lemon grass essence and served along with thai chillies. Duck  meat tends to be a bit chewy but amazing indeed.

Teriyaki Atlantic Salmon - This fish mains had Pan Atlantic salmon cooked in teriyaki sauce. Perhaps this was the best we had for the night. This was served with veggies and quite flavourful.

Seafood Hotpot - If you want a variety of seafood then look no more. This one has prawns, lobster meat, squids along with some veggies like baby corn etc, which were tossed and cooked in chilli oyster sauce. Spicy and amazing.

Vegetable Hot Basil Rice - To accompany both the fish mains, we opted for hot basil rice. This is a bit spicy and goes very well with the gravy options or otherwise. I totally loved this.

Fried Ice Cream - The dessert is served in a tempura fried shell which opens to expose vanilla ice cream inside, which is garnished with cut regular and  green apples. Really, a sweet end to our meal.

Imperial China

Located near Airport, one of the most beautiful classy property of Hilton. Imperial China, Cantonese style food with authentic flavors.
The new menu crafted by Chef is truly inviting.
The ambiance , very classy and cozy. Lovely use of artifacts, creating a very palacial ambiance outside the restaurant. Restaurant ambiance was decent. Keeping it very simple and classic.
We started the meal with some amazing Red wine and chefs Signature Khimchi & Pumpkin Crackers.
Some appetizers to go with wine & mocktails:
Honey Chilly Potatoes: Classic dishes, one of the speciality of every Chinese restaurant. Lovely baby potatoes, tossed in Honey chilly sauces. The sweetness from honey with chilly, fantastic. Just amazing, recommended.
Bean Curd: Tofu tossed in garlic & soya sauce. Pretty good dish. Nice tangy & spice flavors to it.
Spinach Cabbage Dimsum: Dimsums are must have at any Asian place. Truly amazing filling, perfect thickness, must have

Kung Pao Pok Choy: Amazing balance of spices, Soya Kung pao gravy was fabulous.
Wok Tossed Baby Aubergine: fried Aubergine with Jalapeno wok tossed , in dry spices. Aubergine could have been little more crispy.
Mee Goreng : Noodles with veggies tossed in garlic chilly sauce .

Sweet End
Asian Dessert always one of the best, specially coconut base. Also, the sweetness is well balanced. We opted for
Coconut Pudding: Chefs signature butterscotch sauces topped on lovely Coconut Pudding. Coconut Pudding was very presented, well set in Mould. Some garnish apart from the sauce could have added some texture to the dish. Overall, good dessert
Fried Ice Cream: One of the most popular Asian dessert, tempura Coated ice cream, fried and served with apple pieces & chocolate sauce. A perfect end to our meal. Highly Recommended.

Overall, Imperial China, truly is great place to dine. Limited Menu, using simple ingredients and keeping flavors simple.
The service & ambiance is fabulous.

thanks for the amazing experience..!!

Because of the wonderful meal we had at Imperial China the last time (see my review) we drove from South Mumbai just to eat at Imperial China. For starters (Salt & Pepper Water Chestnuts) The salt and pepper clashed with the mild flavor of the water chestnuts a more subtle sauce would have worked better for us. The Kung Pao Chicken which was outstanding the last time was just average noting special to write about. The Mandarin Duck seemed like boiled pieces of sliced duck sauted with some vegetables. Nothing flavorful or tasty or Mandarin about it. Duck is a favorite of my wife and We could not finish our dish. Disappointing experience overall. I doubt we will be back again to Imperial China
