I stayed at Rodas for two nights last year. The room was clean and well maintained. Check-in took forever. They seem to use eco-friendliness as an excuse to inconvenience guests. For example, no sugar packets since the packets are made of paper - when in a hurry, these things can get very annoying. The restaurants are quite good, particularly the Parabola. I found the service wanting and was even told that their sister property (the Fern) next door was the place to go for "real" service (just my luck: the hot water didn't work and I was asked if I wanted bucket hot water which would take an hour).

the hotel is in a quite (for Mumbai) quiet area (heard nothing in the night). So I could take a good rest before the customers visits. Breakfast was OK, room (had room to roadside) was really big and clean. Price very reasonable. Can recommend the hotel and would come back next time in Mumbai.

Room Tip: Had room to street and it was still quiet, so suppose all rooms are good.

Rodas An Ecotel Hotel, being located close to Powai Lake, is conveniently and strategically close to restaurants, shopping centres, city centres and business district. For a foreign visitor, this will be extremely helpful, especially if finding a good dinner is the utmost important criteria when selecting a hotel in Mumbai...

However, sadly, apart from its strategic location, it seems to have fallen short in all other aspects, ranging from cleanliness and the up-keeping of the facilities in the room. The TV, furnitures and all are dated. I have absolutely no idea how to use the TV when flipping the channels and eventually gave up trying. Being an eco-friendly hotel, I have reservations with whether the apparent unclean carpet (no vacuum cleaner?) could be a hotel's policy to save electricity. It doesn't help that there are stains on towel as well, another policy to save water maybe?

Breakfast was a disappointment as well since the selection was limited, regardless of international or local. Nevertheless, service level of the staff is definitely commendable, since they are rather attentive. One advice is to quicken the pace especially when serving hot coffee/tea in the morning.

There is no swimming pool or gym so it lives its name being a biz hotel. Probably since I'm traveling on biz trip, I should not complain about this but, with the price tagged to it, I really would have expected a better facility internally in the hotel and hotel room, so all in all, it was a great disappointment.

The hotel is well located in the middle of a comercial area. The place is safe and close to the Powai lake. The hotel is quite nice although the rooms need some maintenance, carpets are not as clean as expected and internet is not included in a rather high price. Service is quite efficient, the key was not working and was fixed within few hours.

Rodas ecotel at Hiranandani Gardens Powai is an excellent business hotel with green practices. The rooms are clean and spacious. The chinese 'Fareast' restaurant is fabulous and so is the coffee shop buffet which has endless rows of gourmet specialties.
It is a business hotel but with the warmth and individual care of a family hotel. The staff are very courteous and helpful.
The hotel is nearby many shopping areas and business addresses which makes it a convenient hotel near the airport.
The room has an eco booklet to guide you how to be green traveller and conserve energy.Imagine saving for the planet while staying in a luxurious hotel, its the least we can do for our planet. It was an inspiring stay.

Room Tip: Choose rooms over looking the brightly lit streets and also ask the coffee shop below in case they have a food festival going on, you can indulge.
