“Nothing Much to Say about”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2012

I fully back ameyajoshi (previous reviewer)'s thoughts. I had gone to Pheonix Mall in Lower Parel some time back. Now, that is called a Mall. They call this place CITY but nothing much to talk about. Not many visitors too could be seen. I am not sure how they are making their money. Probably, Sunday's could be better (I went on a week day). Only solace was a nice wine and beer area inside the Reliance shop there which had quite a nice collection of wines.

If you are a wine lover, you should go and see this place. Otherwise, with the approaching traffic to that place, its worth giving a miss.

“Pathetic design, half of the complex is not open”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2012

Coming from a big brand like Phoenix, who run a very neat and perfectly designed Phoenix mills complex in down town Mumbai, I went to this place in early May, with a lot of expectations. I had read somewhere that this is one of the biggest shopping complex areas in the country and I went with a lot of expectations.

The approach to this place is pathetic, thru a small and narrow LBS road around Kurla.

The parking area is not well lit or clean and it takes a while to go from the parking lot to the actual mall.

Over half the outlets were yet to open. The spaces have not been sold yet.

The design is not simplistic to say the least. You do not know where you are heading and if you have covered all the outlets / areas. The food court is scattered all around with no specific place / floor for the outlets. While it is nice to have a food option at every floor, the stores do not allow you to come in with food in your hand and there is no adequate place to sit and have food on each floor.

Comparing it with their mall in Lower Parel, this was a total disappointment.
