Mani Bhavan is not to be missed if you are interested in knowing about the philosophy and teachings of this Great Man, this apostle of peace and his non-violence movement. Interesting, informative, well-presented, charming. To learn a lot in a short time. Very educational and enjoyable. Historically relevant.

A massive quantity of documents, wonderful potos (in black and white, absolutely wonferful, telling you Gandhi’s history from his youth to his final days), memorabilia, books, letters (written to and by Gandhi – Pay special attention to those written to Hitler and Rooselvelt just before World War – History gems!), artifacts and information. The pace is to be visited unhurried. The sense of reverence prevails among the visitors, as though one was in a holy building. Every accompanying detail has been carefully dealt with by the hard-working and dedicated staff.

There is an exhibition showcasing Gandhiji's life and his struggle for India’s freedom through mini figures with about 28 tableaux (dioramas). Such an extraordinary and illustrative way to tell the story of a life in the XXI Century!

As a History lover visiting this place was a highlight for me. I was fascinated! I got much more than I had expected. Touched me deeply! Absolutely worthwhile. Loved the miniature tableaux. Excellent website if interested in Gandhi’s life, thought and work. A moving experience with a true insight in Gandhi’s intimate journey into the struggle against the British Raj.

A must to get an intimate glimpse into this world-renowned peacemaker. All you want to know about Mahatma Gandhi and more! ,

As previous reviews point it out this heart-filling museum offers you the real essence of 20th century India with the quaint dioramas depicting the leader’s life story seeming – at first - a bit odd in our digitally crazy racing world. However, they are so inspirational. I left feeling grateful for the existence of people like Gandhi!

A great history lesson!
