“Good museum but if you have seen Sabarmati nothing like it”
Reviewed October 14, 2012

Gandhi fully loaded as far as Mani Bhavan is concerned. It is one of the intresting museum on life of Mahatma but not as good as one in Ahmedabad. I would suggest one who havent seen anything on Gandhi to visit Mani Bhavan for a hour or two. Good that Mumbai Chowpatty is walking distance from here...

“Take an hour from your day and see this!”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

There is no reason why you wouldn't see this whilst in Bombay. It's an exempt well preserved, well exhibited museum. Factual yet not overpowering. A great gift shop as well!

Miniature figures depict the life story of Gandhi. A really interesting museum and ample room to move around.

“A simple house - now museum”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

Well laid out displays and an ample library of works by Gandhi. Was a bit busy when we got there but the house is located in a quiet back street.

“Iconic Place in Indian History !”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

A must visit place for all those interested in Indian history.

This was the abode of Mahatma Gandhi in Mumbai during the pre 1947 era.

Visit this place which also has a museum depicting Gandhiji's entire life : from childhood to his last few words.

A peek into India's struggle for freedom spearheaded by Gandhiji will leave you inspired and probably more humble at least for that moment.
