The causeway is the best place in mumbai for roadside shopping. Girls love to spend hours and hours & money at the causeway. With the place also offering quite a few restaurants & cafe like cafe mondegar, cafe Leopold, etc for youngsters .

Colaba is one of Mumbai's upmarket shopping centres, with trendy fashion shops, the Sahakari Bhandar supermarket, the Regal Theatre, the popular Leopold Cafe, the Taj Palace Hotel, Gateway of India and a great deal more all in the general area. It attracts a large number of locals as well as tourists, particularly in the evenings.I should emphasise that, while Mumbai is the most expensive city in India, it is one of the cheapest cities globally. Years back, Indians used to visit Singapore for shopping. Today, because of the very strong Singapore Singapore dollar, Singaporeans come to shop in Mumbai.

Colaba area is worth a visit, but one can be taken for a ride on prices. Be careful when bargaining.

This place is for the shoppers..enjoy the shopping with gateway & taj heritage just stone throw away.. you get the best bargain from the road side shop..!! Gets a little crowded in the later part of the evening.. if you do not like crowded place try to visit early evening..!!
