This is possibly the dream of any architect or similar...the meander through the streets (Sunday is best as traffic is almost non existent) delivers one amazing building after the next...arriving in colaba after the short walk sees you in the tourist Mecca with cafés and restaurants a plenty...

On a Sunday The main streets are almost empty and the side streets all house makeshift neighbourhood cricket games...

This plcae is a shoppers and a food junkies paradise. One can get the simple street shopping experience whilst enjoying the local delicacies along with the sights and sound of the city. One can find people from all walks of life moving about in the by lanes. This place attracts a lot of tourists. The gateway of India is close..a must do...

Colaba is one of the 7 islands of ancient mumbai. This is almost like heart of mumbai where you can find most of the heritage places, hotels and seashore. At colaba causeway you can find everything you need and mostly ornaments or collectibles. One tip is do not forget to bargain :). There are many big hotels , restaurants, attractions at this place from taj mahal hotel, gate way of india, marine lines, leopord cafe, bade miyan, museum , jahangir art gallery and famous kalaghoda fest also during first week of feb.
