Well because of the location, I choose to stay for 3 days during last week of May.
I felt, its facilities and overall services does not match to be of a similar priced hotel.
Need to improve on quality and pricing of both, stay and rest of the serviced.

Room Tip: Try sea facing room

Well, i always used to live in the other hotels while my business trips to Mumbai, but spotting this one at the Juhu Beach forced me to book it for the next one. They give the free airport pick up complimentary - very nice. Humble and a nice person on the airport and its smooth to be at the hotel. Entrance is little average - the reception staff is just fine in their attitude for the customers. I asked for the beach view, she said not possible - rather explaining me why or feeling sorry about it. well, Food is extraordinarily expensive if you ask for the room dining. and if you ask for a bread with your soup - they say mam - its chargeable.

To my further disappointment, unlike any other 5* hotel, i have stayed till date, your water over 1 bottle is chargeable. you ask for the water and they say - its 65 - 75 Rs every bottle you ask over one for the whole day. Well this was not done..... and got bottle from a shop outside the hotel. The gym is okay :) and the food in their lobby cafe is even fine but expensive and not give value to money.

Also, another weird thing, they call themselves good as a business hotel - business kit provided in the drawers (thank you for that), but there was not a single socket in the whole room to plug my laptop. I called housekeeping and he came with the 3 pin plug saying - i have to use the same socket at TV has. This was bad :(, but beds are good - comfortable, big rooms. In 2013, asking for the Green tea sachets - they reply NOT available and you need to have a darjeeling tea only in the rooms.

I wasnt satisfied at all, they need to moderate them in terms of their services.

Good Luck!!

Room Tip: Take the smoking rooms - they still are little better :)

We booked for here three nights at the end of April prior to a cruise from Bombay to Athens , we relied on descriptions of near beach, true but awful beach for thousands of locals only. facinating to watch but not sit on, in reality no beach

The hotel a few years ago was run by indian Catholics with many long serving staff, many still remain and their levels of service are wonderful, the hotel then changed to Hindu , it would appear this was a bad move, as the new owners do not have servive high on their list, or s it appeared to my wife and myself

Reception at check in was surley and unhelpful, when I asked for help to repair my wifes broken shoe, tried again folowing morning middle aged lady really did not care could not help

Bed room needed refurbishing, bath had rust showing through, water stains in room where water had been coming down wall, air conditioning far too cold, central system room control faulty

BUT FOOD EXCELLENT, the breakfast was very good had some poached eggs cooked perfectly, good aray of indian food, we ate in the evening in the speciality chines resterant and the food was excellent, and so so good and not overpriced

Last time in india I stayed at the Taj group and next time will go there again admittedly a little more expensive but worth it

Room Tip: request a room that has been refurbished recently

This hotel suffers from the same disease as a lot of places I have visited. I call it the ''worst room syndrome''. Refer to photo for a great view on the ocean form our room. Why do hotels clerks do that when we were pretty much alone in the place is beyond me.
We spent three days mid week in this place and the best room we got was dated, with a devilish uncontrollable air conditioning unit that we had to turn down to avoid freezing to death which is ironic in India,
Internet was pretty pathetic and costly, the restaurant very average with nice waiters though.
Basically the place is dated and not up to par to a lot of places I have visited in India and Indonesia.
The beach is close but very dirty and unappealing which is not the hotel's fault but removes the ''appeal'' of this place as you have to be very brave to go swimming in the ocean .

Hotel is also very far from downtown and from the airport which makes this destination kind of remote for the business person or the tourist.
Mumbai is a cool place to visit but you will spend a lot of time and effort to get to the interesting part from this particular hotel. If the service, the rooms were of better quality , then you may justify the distance. As of now, I would stay away as there are better options.

to start with the hotel reception was sad the staff were too rude and were not helpful the entire hotel needs a makeover its sad unpleasant feel in the room stinky too so anyone wanting to stay near juhu beach try novotel sea princess or sun n sand better options.

Room Tip: a sea view room is better but the charge you pay is too high

The trouble started at the check-in itself. The lady at the reception was rude and the duty manager didn't help either and was equally curt. The booking for three nights was for a premium sea facing room and the room I was given was just facing a road. Added to this i was treated like a common criminal and was asked for a security deposit up front for my stay. This after having paid in full for my stay. As regards the sea facing room, well one would the neck of a stork and an owl combined to extend out and rotate ones neck to see the sea. The premium charged for the room is simply not worth it. The rooms were just about OK but i've seen far better rooms for the price paid. The rest of the staff are generally friendly and helpful. The spread at breakfast was adequate with nothing much to rave about.

Room Tip: The premium charged for a sea facing room is not worth paying.
