I spend 2 weeks a month at the Leela in Mumbai and the team there have made me feel like part of their family. Great food, excellent restaurants and all round fantastic service. Woudl recommend to anyone on a long corporate stay.

Room Tip: Book as far in advance as possible

When my husband and I arrived at the Leela in Mumbai, we felt unwelcomed by the staff at the front desk. The lady who checked us in was very rude and had a very bad attitude. The customer service is very poor. The only people that were friendly were the housekeepers. Other services provided by the hotel were ok, nothing superb. I would never go back to this hotel. Awful!

Over the last 7 years I have stayed at the Leela Mumbai several times. The hotel was recomended to me by the company I do business with in Mumbaiand is near their office
On my previous visit I had noticed that the facilities were begining to look a bit tired and not state of the art. On a recent trip in May I was very please to see not only had they refurbished the club floors but also updated some of the common parts. In tough economic times its very easy for hotels to rest on their laurels and not keep up the standards but it does show. It shows even more when they show a continued programme of investment

Location wise this is great if you are traveling in and out of either the domestic or international airport. Security is tight (which is increasingly important) and the whole area is a mini oasis in the midst of chaos. The rooms are on the small side but well appointed. Watch out if you're on one of their packages - when they say airport transfers included they think they mean one way rather than return until you point out the ambiguity! Overall a great place with excellent staff who are very keen to help in any way that they can.

The team at Leela (under the leadership of its Front Office Manager - Mr.RAMAN MARWAH), ensured that our stay was not only a memorable & fantastic one but also each & every detail of the occassion was well thought of. The Club floor Manager - Mr.JOHN ABRAHAM, was there from the time we checked in, till our day end, to see that every minute detail was taken care of. The CLUB TEAM simply made it awesome for us. An amazing time given to us by this amazing team...
