“Great Hotel friendly staff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2012

Very convenient hotel. Prefer staying at Ramee group of hotels in Dubai and India as you know the quality is always going to be the same.. HIGH! Beautifully clean rooms and amazing bathrooms with friendly and polite staff. Cannot be beaten. Manager and Front desk was exceptional too.

I am a regular guest of Ramee Guestline (Juhu)
It has changed in many ways of guest's comforts / facilities ; where it has not changed is the warmth and smile of the staff.
Conveniently located - I find it a hotel that is all-encompassing.
Keep it up

Room Tip: Look for upper floors - lower ones tend to get the disco music at sound sometimes

The room we stayed in on the 4th Floor had a dirty / filthy bathroom and very run down, not worthy of a 4 star rating for this hotel. The music from the Disco on the ground floor was so loud and kept one out of sleep for many hours. The only good thing about this hotel was the friendly front office and travel desk staff and the free fast internet. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

My sister and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights between the 17/9/12 to 19/9/12 and were initially very pleased with the facilities and staff. However, on our first night we received a call in our rooms offering us a ‘free complimentary massage’ that was included in the room rate. We accepted this offer although as we were advised only a male masseuse was available we only permitted a shoulder massage. At the end of the massages the staff member asked if we would like another complimentary massage the following day. We booked another massage but went to reception later that day to advise we only wanted a female masseuse.

When at reception we were advised that the hotel did not offer free complimentary massages and agreed with the reception staff, who were extremely helpful, that they would come to our room at the arranged time to see who was providing this service. In the event it turned out that the person in question was a member of housekeeping staff. The staff member was then escorted from our room and I requested that we speak to the manager.

As you can imagine my sister and I were very unhappy that such an incident could occur and expected that the matter would be treated extremely seriously. Unfortunately however this was not the case. After waiting for the hotel manager to come and speak to us for half an hour we decided to go and seek him out ourselves. Upon speaking to the manager he explained that he had given the staff member in question a warning and suspended him for a few days and after I requested some compensation he suggested a free dinner. As a minimum I would have expected the staff members employment to be terminated. This was clearly an act of gross misconduct and worse still the staff member was taking advantage of two young girls. The manager then advised that the staff member had been with the hotel for 4 years and that his family was known to the hotel!!!

We were very dissappointed with this service and do not feel that the matter was dealt with seriously. Upon returning to the UK we emailed Ramee head office to complain but 6 weeks later still have had no reply. i would advise against any women staying here as the member of staff is still working there. Oh and the noise from the party meant we also couldn't sleep at night!!!

This hotel was booked for a business trip- had I been traveling alone I would have turned around and walked out the door. We arrived late at night to find a nightclub in the lobby. The music was so loud you could not even talk to the person standing next to you- unfortunately on the 5th floor at the other end of the hotel, the music was still very loud and the club didn't close until 0245. The room appeared clean, but the ac did not work very well. I can only imagine how hot the room would be in the summer.
There were only 2 irons in the entire hotel which resulted in a very long wait.
The last morning there, while finishing packing a male staff member knocked on the door and entered the room despite having the "do not disturb" light turned on. As a single female traveler I found that unacceptable regardless of the circumstances.
Had I stayed at this hotel first in India I would not have noticed the lack of security, but as this was the 3rd hotel I stayed in the lack of security was disturbing. There was no screening of vehicles entering the property, the front door/lobby was essentially right on the road, luggage was not screened, and there was no hand luggage x-ray or metal detector.
The hotel is only a couple of blocks from Juhu beach, but it was about 2 hours (with traffic) from Mumbai proper.
Even if you are looking for a budget hotel I would not recommend this hotel.
