In one sentence - Cannot complain about anything. Excellent location, excellent staff, delicious restaurants and all with view that simply priceless. Specially in the night one can see the Queen's Necklace, the array of lights along the famous marine drive.

Room Tip: Book in advance for the sea facing rooms

The Hotel is 1 hour away by car from the international airport, it's located on the seaside, in fronto of the promenate. The city centre is really close, it's a boutique hotel. The lobby is elegant even if quite small and inside there are three restaurant: indian, thai and european cousine. People is very kind and available, rooms are nice, very clean and furnitures nice. Unfortunately I have to admit that the breakfast was not the standard huge Intercontinental breakfast even if the quality was quite good. The hotel has a good Gym and also a swimming pool and on the top floor a bar where you can enjoy the seaside view. Globally I would come back to this hotel and I can recommend it.

Our family had one junior suite and one regular room in Mumbai. This was our first time in Mumbai (with the exception of my husband) and we were a bit shell-shocked. Inside the hotel is a beautiful oasis; step outside and you have traffic, dirt, filth, beggars, animals, etc. The hotel staff was superb -- from the front desk, to the room cleaners, wait staff, and spa people. Security is great -- I felt very safe there. The views from our rooms were fabulous. The management and staff were extremely eager to please. It was a positive experience.

The InterContinental Marine Drive is an very nice home base for a visit to Mumbai with a very nice view to match. First time visitor to India from the USA and quite pleased with the home base aspects of the hotel. The hotel is conveniently located on Marine Drive and so easy to locate for the taxi drivers. The hotel is also very secure with the very friendly security staff and doorman at the entrance. Monsoon and high tide the first week of July 2012 and so prepared for rains and flooding but to the displeasure of the locals I was greeted with equal light rain and sun for the duration of the visit. Monsoon is the off season so prices and occupancy were low. And the weak Indian currency was an added bonus. The hotel is a home base for a walking visit to the immediate area with any number of tourist attractions. The area is pedestrian friendly with access to Marine Drive, Churchgate, Gateway of India, Mariman Point, and the associated neighborhoods and neighbors. Despite the affluence associated with the area convenient toilets and convenient shops are void in the area. And so we have the home base aspect of the hotel. The exterior and the interior of the hotel exceeded expectations as did the hallways and the rooms. Due to the location on the Arabian Sea the view is the determining factor of the hotel rooms. The room views include city view, bay view, and sea view. The room sizes include standard, executive suite and panoramic view suite. Status with the hotel loyalty club reaps rewards such as room upgrades and so better to indicate at booking the desired view so the upgraded room will match the desired view. As a resident of middle America visiting at high tide in Monsoon season the view of the sea was the only factor in determining the room. The breakfast included in the rate was good value and good quality. All the necessities such as high speed Internet, hot water, bottled water, huge comfortable bed, friendly staff. The location is on the busy Marine Drive so expect some street noise. The overall population of Mumbai is younger so nice to see younger staff such as the butler staff and the front desk staff. Quite pleased with the vegetarian Bombay Tiffin via the room service for a quiet meal in the room. The spa service is also a very good price and a very good massage. Coordinated with the desk staff for a cool cab to the airport and quite pleased as such. The hotel staff directed the driver to the appropriate airport (there are two) and the hotel staff noted the expectations of both cost and time for the trip to the airport. The weather was perfect and the delays were few and the driver was very professional but the trip to the airport exceeded 2 hours despite the 30 minute estimate via Google Maps. All tolls are to be paid by the passenger so be prepared for the toll. The trip to the airport was the most unnerving trip in my lifetime due to the traffic so be prepared.

Room Tip: The sea view is the one and only view. The rooms are all equally nice though.

Pricey but located on the beach and close to the business district the hotel is located centrally for business travellers with meetings in the business district.

Rooms are excellent and spacious, modernly furnished. Room Service is good though expensive. Try the Mumbai Tiffin on the room service menu for authentic well-made mumbai meals.

Breakfast selection is limited but is excellent.

Room Tip: Choose Sea facing rooms for excellent views

I enjoyed at all, the trip was amazing with having room over there!
It was really amazing time.

The hotel was clean and very fine design. I liked hotel as the design and decoration, it was best. a quiet easy to be near with your all official work and as it is in airport side no problem of suffering any heavy traffic. The food were good and has the multi cuisine and also cafe place was good and I liked it. The rooms are good, characteristic of rooms in as the modern design and quite big and enough, but the hotel price will increase by getting more space and having better room. Good continental breakfast. The management was very friendly and helpful, very much a family run establishment. The all stuff were friendly and having good knowledge to help you and they give good service also for guiding or if you need any kind of information they were helpful and their English was perfect. The Palace was just 10 minutes walk to airport and incredibly convenient.
Overall I felt good and enjoyed my week

Room Tip: Depend on your quality of room you like you can get different rooms.but all rooms are good.
