Best time to visit this place is late evening, between December to February for the weather is pleasant and yes, go with a reservation and request to be seated outdoors near the artificial waterfall facade..the sound of the water trickling down is soothing as you enjoy your meal. The place is classy and the attendants, very well aware of the offerings. The quality of the food and presentation is good..we had steamed dumplings here and they were just how they should be. Given that the place is expensive (costed Rs 4500 for 2 drinks, a starter, a main course and a dessert) save this place for a special occasion or a once in a while indulgence.

The restaurant is an old villa converted into a restaurant, so gives that old town look. The ambiance is quite romantic and upscale. Staff are courteous, we took a tour of the place which has a level above given only for private parties. The cuisine has a selection of dishes from italian, thai, indonesian and continental. The food was great and the portions were reasonable as well.

I know the photographs can easily fool you and so did of this place. A welcome surprise was that unlike other restaurant in the vicinity they are open to taking reservation over the weekend. Staff was courteous and friendly. I agree to some of the review comments which say they cld have played better with the amount of space they have. Well the food for which most of the people land-up to this place is average and the menu which has Asian to Mexican cuisine leaves less room for error. Dessert though weren't disappointing. Either you go there and try out all options available and pick what satisfies your taste buds or leave the visit to this place for those days when all others are packed to brim.

The Italian spread is ok. The valet parking is good. The location is good. And in a place like Mumbai where space is a premium, this place has outside dining and the surrounding is nice and easy. Staff is courteous. Not exepensive. But given that the place is spacious and airy too, they can do a lot better on the food. But you can't get everything right - can you ?

Not sure why TA classifies this as Mexican cuisine because clearly it isn't. International dishes vary from italian to asian. Frankly, they have too many dishes- there is no way a resto can do this many different dishes and cuisines well.

Although they're trying hard to be an upscale restaurant, they just don't quite get it. The biggest irritant was the music- irish folkdance and merry-go-round classics like an alphabet song. A complete disoonant with the atmosphere which is beautiful. Only a few places in Bombay offer outside dining in nice surroundings.

The food was fine- not outstanding but no flaws. The wine list was non-existant. They were 'working on it'. As everywhere in Bombay, the wine was very average but very expensive (4000 INR for a bottle of italian table wine)

So in short- the place has great potential but needs management from somebody who understands quality dining.
