“calm breakfast spot..”

I came here a lot during my stay in Mumbai.. the breakfast combos are great value with good coffee, juice and sandwiches too. Wifi is an added bonus.

“Distinctive cuisine”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

A little place tucked away in a lane near Fort, this is really nice.Firstly the minus..the service is friendly but a little slow.on the other hand the food is scrumptious.the chef's salad is out of this world ! Caramelised nuts, goat cheese and exotic veggies make this my favourite. The breads are also good,as are the soups and sandwiches.
Limitation :the menu is few items but they ARE made well !

“A bit of New York London Tokyo in Mumbai”
Reviewed November 17, 2012

It's like a Tokyo teahouse married a London coffee shop and moved their New York artist loft to Mumbai. In other words, all kinds of cool. Starting with the coffee menu. Were you expecting to find a soy cappuccino in this maze of back streets? We weren't. Waffles, muesli, Apple+Beet+Carrot juice? I wanted to try the pumpkin green apple soup but was already salivating at the ginger cake. The bags of organic local coffee beans make good gifts. You can count the number of tables on one hand, so be prepared to wait admiring the artwork until one frees up.

“A wonderful hidden gem of Mumbai”
Reviewed July 2, 2012

This place defies belief. But then many things in the Maximum city does. The fare available is largely European. And the cafe large has the appeal that a cafe in a European city would. Small, cute and rather precious in the way it is hidden away from immediate public eye. It is frequented mostly by its own staunch regulars. That's how it differs from say a Leopold, and seriously I would hate that difference to go away. But it would be wrong not to share such a wonderful gem with all of my fellow travelers. One tip- Don't go there with your girlfriend/boyfriend. Go there with your best friends and spend a morning there doing nothing but chatting and sipping tea/coffee, and try the brunch! :)

“A must visit”
Reviewed July 2, 2012

Tiny, utterly charming, and manages to have a little mezzanine seat accessed by steep stairs. Lovely for a coffee break, and the cheese straws are to die for. They also always display the work of some amateur artist or other, so every time you visit there's something new to see.
