This temple is one of the oldest temple in Mumbai. This is of lord shiva/Shankar. On every monday, you will see this temple with lots of crowd. During Sharavan month (Aug) lakhs of people visit this place. This place is very close to Girgaun Chowpathy. If you are traveling by train, you need to get down either at Grant Road or Charni Road, it is equi distance from both places.

if you wish to do lunch/dinner, go to either Soam restaurant for authentic gujarati meal or Swati restaurant (near grant road station.)

Since this temple is near my house and I am a Shiva devotee I go there whenever I feel like. It is one of the oldest Lord Shiva's temple at the turning where Chowpatty ends. I have even had the privelege of doing its darshan on the eve of Mahashivatri night. It was a real memorable sight for me. Every day this temple is visited by thousands. People offer kaccha milk to the Shiva Linga. Outside the temple you will find people feeding the cows. A visit to the Babulnath Temple is a must.

If you are looking to connect spiritually, do hope that Lord Shiva will call you for his divine darshan at the Babulnath Temple.. Tucked away from the hustle bustle, it is the ideal place to re-connect with ones inner self.

Babulnath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is located at one end of Marine Drive, and is atop a small hill. One can take the 100 odd steps up to the temple, which is very refreshing( though one is at the door step of the people residing there) or take a lift.
For Hindus,a visit to this temple is considered a must as it is the biggest & oldest Shiv-Temple in Mumbai.

AT a little height the place offers a scenic view of the surrounding and a temple visit to a very neat and clean temple gives a pleasure to mind
