“Restaurant par excellence”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

This is simply one of the authentic South Indian udipi restaurants in Mumbai. It opens as early as 5:30 am.

The food is so delicious that one would never stop eating.

The dosa and idlis are mouth watering.

Only problem is there is always too much queue to get a table. But that's what happens at good popular places.

I love this place.

“Odd-time Oasis”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

The best time to visit Ramashreya is when it ain't meal time. The restaurant gets pretty crowded and there is no place to wait as it's in the middle of Matunga market space. Try to make it for 11am or 3pm and you will be able to find a seat quickly. The service is quick and efficient and the food is yum. The speciality of Ramashreya is their innovative sheera. They have two kinds for you to choose from everyday. One day it is mango and strawberry and the next is jackfruit and pineapple and so on. Their snacks and meals and desserts are very very good. Not a place you can lounge around and have a leisurely meal but a place where you can grab something tasty in about half hour.

Best South Indian Restaurant in Mumbai. Pure Indian Vegetarian food, no meat fish or eggs. Now days one has to wait for may be upto half an hour in a queue to get a seat.

The hotel has got amazin speed in serving Hot Idli's n Sheera.
The food is very tasty.liked the way they serve unlimited Sambhar n Chutney.
The ambience is a little of old style, but is very neat and clean.
Also the paanwala just outside has amazing variety of tasty Paan's.
