Visited with colleagues on Friday noon. It was terribly crowded like a suburban railway station. Long queue for food which lacked variety and quality. The taste was just average. Nothing special.

The management was unable to cop with the large crowd and it was exhibited by poor service. I had to ask 4 times to get a green tea just to receive it after 20 mins. Utterly poor show of service.

Avoid as you will get definitely better value for money at near-by restaurants. This was my third visit there and I really experienced the deteriorating service and quality of food.

Mini Punjab Lakeside as name suggests this restaurant is opposite Powai lake; though you don't get to see the lake when you are seated inside, idea is to have large window viewing seat to have glimpse of lake. I have been to this restaurant multiple times with family and colleagues. Overall ambiance is good, with decent service and food options, however sometime it gets noisy as they have banquet hall with the restaurant. This place has good offerings on North Indian and Oriental cuisines and they are good on Veg and Non Veg Punjabi food. I have tried oriental food and liked it specially some of the non-veg dishes. If you are going with family for dinner buffet, you will see good spread of veg and non-veg starters which is hit with my family and everyone enjoys it. Overall service is good with staff bit courteous and happy to help you with your un expected demands.
I recommend this if you are going out for good Punjabi food with your family minus some nose and bit service hiccups

The place was ok and we had a decent sit down dinner (they refused to join tables since we were a family of 8 and they have seating for only 4 people at 4), but what is important about any hotel/restuarant is how they treat you when things dont go right. and we were in for a nightmare. the valet guys first banged the car while and broke the side mirror, and then after we noticed it upon our return, said that they did not do it, after questioning them further they said another car did it. The manager was unapologetic, and when we asked him to atleast check who the car belonged to, he dint want to even find out, parking the car is not our responsibility, and in such a tone as if we were the ones who made a big mistake by even asking them. when we called the police, he and his comrades nicely bribed the policemen and the whole situation watered down.
must say the worst experience i will ever have at a restaurant.

We went this place for lunch on a weekday around 1:00 PM. They have buffet all weekdays (lunch and Dinner). We were told that we can also go for a la carte, if wished. Looking at the menu for buffet we decided to go for a la carte except for my son who wanted to eat the buffet. The waiter reminded us multiple times that we cannot eat from the person eating buffet as if we do not understand the practice. First of all they do not have separate seating for buffet and a la carte and then the way we were told about this was rude.
The food was good however the service was slow. They also missed a dish that we had ordered. This happened in spite of most people going for the self service buffet. I wonder what would happen if they do not have buffet.
