“First Class: Marriott at its best”
Reviewed February 3, 2011

First class hotel with all the class and amenities you would expect from a Marriott property.
My wife and I stayed here briefly during an Indian Holiday one day either side of our holiday having used Mumbai airport as our port of entry and departure.
The facilities are excellent, the bedrooms and shower room with its rain shower facility is worthy of comment. Excellent.
Great food great service what more can one say.
Highly recommended

We stayed with our 2 twins for a long time at the Courtyard Marriot and were sad to leave. Nothing was a problem and everybody was always ready to help us. The MOMO Restaurant had a faboulos breakfast and we loved the omelettes with 18 different ingregedients, croissants with little sugar (which is better for you) AND all the warm meals. Dinner was lavious and good value and we enjoyed the buffet. The room was large with superb beds and mattresses. We could call for room service 24hrs/7 and have complimentary tea, coffee & water delivered. We had some specific problems with documents and several Directors tried to help us several times which was admirable. The swimming pool was very large and did not smell of chlorine and I used it daily. Nice gym but did not have time to use it. There were lots of activities for children on Sundays which we enjoyed. This is a very family friendly hotel and the staff go out of their way to help you. There is too much traffic on the main road and clients normally just take a taxi to and from the hotel. It is close to the National and International Airports which is a bonus. We warmly recommend this hotel to families as well as business people.

This is not a five star hotel, however, compared to other courtyards in the world, it is much better. I wasn't too impressed with the general ambience of the hotel. The lobby is very average, and the coffee shop is really crowded by huge families and gatherings. If you want to sit on your laptop and sip coffee in good surroundings, I would recommend somewhere else.

However, the rooms were very good. They were much bigger than expected, with all amenities. The view was absolutely disastrous, looking into a construction site dump! If however, you can ignore the view, the rooms had everything a five star hotel could have.

The gym is very small, and I believe they are in the process of developing it. I have to say that the gym instructors were extremely friendly and helpful. I got on really well with them.

I did not use their restaurant, although it looked alright. My friend who was staying with me in another room did use Zen, and wasn't too pleased with the food. Allegedly, it is one of the best Chinese food restaurants in the neighborhood.

I have to say that the hotel was cheap, I booked it quite early, and got a room for INR 5500 per night only, which is a bargain for a good Mumbai hotel. If given a chance to stay at this rate, I would use it again.

I was in Mumbai for a marriage and stayed at this hotel. I didnt had a reservation and booked my room straight at the reception. Got a good deal with breakfast. Didint had much time to spend in the room, but whatever time i spent, it was a very comfortable experience. Had shifted to this hotel Near by Sai Palace hotel, because a relative was already staying here (though even that was a good hotel). The hotel is brand new, with very modern rooms. The only thing i felt was awkward for a business hotel was the glass partition between the room and the toilet. I feel this concpet is more suitable to a hineymoon hotel. Though full marks to the hotel. Great experience!!

This is an outstanding place to stay with wonderful staff, close proximity to the airports, but quite far from the major attractions of Mumbai. The airy, open restaurant on the main floor offers an extensive buffet breakfast with freshly-prepared hot items and excellent dinner choices. Service is excellent. The upper-level Zen Restaurant provides delicious Asian dishes. The surrounding neighborhood is not good for walking and does not offer shops and a variety of interesting restaurants, although Subway, Domino's, and Pizza Hut are quite close. The Andheri train station, from where one can travel to different destinations in the city, is 10-15 minutes away by taxi or autorickshaw. For sightseeing one can hire a taxi for the day at reasonable prices. Security is impressive: cars enter through the hotel gate where security staff with a sniffer dog inspect each vehicle. Guests also send their bags and purses through the scanner and are wanded. Ladies pass through a curtained booth where they are screened by a female staff member. We enjoyed our stay and would like to stay in this hotel again.

The room was a good size. It was very clean and comfortable. I was very impressed with the lighting. There was a very large TV. Tea/Coffee/Minibar. (Minibar pricy). Internet was reasonable at hotel prices, around £8 a day.
Hotel is conveneint for the airport.
The pool area was nice and clean. Could have done with chairs/tables at poolside. There are nice loungers but I like chair/table. There is a bar area with chairs and tables a little way from the pool.
There is an area called Red Zen, which is a bar/restaurant area, which is quite interesting.
I really liked the foyer ceiling design.
The greatest downside is that if you want to stroll, the area is not very nice. It is quite a way before there is a decent walking area with shops etc, and the pavements are poor and muddy.
