As a prestigious brand in hospitality Westin evokes a sense of luxury, warmth and elevated customer service. Our stays at Westin Mumbai Garden City were truly delightful and greatly comfortable thanks to their team of committed professionals.

The fact that it is a fantastic location with spacious, elegant rooms that offer impressive green views doubles up the joy of staying here. Having always stayed here on business travel I had my reservations that this might not be all that fun for a family holiday. However I was clearly mistaken and this stay went on to become a memorable, relaxed and joyous family time.

We were celebrating a wedding anniversary in the family knowing of which the staff surprised us with a gorgeous bouquet and a scrumptious cake – most importantly they sealed these moments for us by clicking (& later sharing with us) pictures on their own. It’s not the cake or flowers but the gesture and thought that make such a simple act feel special. Having a 3.5 years old little one with us meant we could not all enjoy the lounge at the same time. As some of us chose to sit outside the lounge entertaining the kid we were served an array of delicious snacks and drinks ensuring we did not miss on any fun. Breakfast at ‘Seasonal Tastes’ has never failed us – my only wish is they have a slightly better exhaust such that the place does not get smoky & smelly during the peak hours.

The lunch and dinner at Kangan and Presto were sheer bliss! Our room service menus were promptly delivered (& even adjusted to the taste of a 3.5 year old as required) and the presentation was a classy visual treat. They also have a kids club house where our kid had an enjoyable time exploring and experiencing toys and games. Of course it helps that a shopping and entertainment mall is just across the road too. Our rooms offered fantastic views of lush green land on one side and a busy road (which dazzled at night with golden and red lights) on the other. What made the view special for our kid was a construction site far ahead with JCBs and excavators working in full swing – to each his own I say J All in all Westin Mumbai Garden City totally lived up to the brand and exuded comfort in all ways. Now when I continue to come here on business it feels like a home away from home reminding me of the wonderful family time we enjoyed here.

The westin was one of, if not the best hotel I stayed at in india. Ended up being upgraded to a suite on executive floor - amazing room, decked out with three LCD TV's two bathrooms- Panoramic view of Mumbai below. Free drinks and nibbles at the executive suite were great - but the best thing was the breakfast, which the Westin know how to do well. Staff were very helpful and rebooked a Flight for me. Umez in the shop is good fun to have a chat with as well, and his prices are fairly reasonable for a hotel shop. Only downside to this hotel is the location - but auto's or cabs are so cheap to anywhere it doesn't really matter

Room Tip: Get upgraded

The Westin Mumbai Garden city, lives up to the Westin name on all fronts. Its a fairly new hotel opened in Goregaon just off the Western Exp Highway, adjoining the Oberoi mall. I was here on a long term stay provided by my company. Had a chance to stay on the 20th floor and had a great view of Mum City. Staff were extremely polite, no complaints on the service front, all in all couldnt ask for more. Bonus points earned during my stay was the icing on the cake.

Highlights
- Excellent breakfast spread, just cannot ask for more (the smoothies are a must try)
- The club rooms offering complimentary drinks at the Club in the evening was excellent
- Rooms are extra spacious with all modern amenities
- Gym is top notch
- Kangan, the attached restaurant is a must try

Room Tip: Try and upgrade to the club rooms to enjoy the evenings at the club. The higher the floor the better the view.

I spent a week here on business at the start on Jan. The rooms are spacious with a modern decor, great views and a fabulous bathroom! If you like a good bath, this will keep you very happy!
Whilst there, I utilised the conference rooms and facilities for 4 days. The banqueting staff were very attentive & always there to assist us. My only negative comment was the noise coming from the other rooms (loud music).
The breakfast on the 18th floor was extensive & fresh. We also lunched here daily, you can have buffet or order off the menu.
All the food that I had through th hotel was excellent.
The hotel is lush and green, overlooking farm land, and hills..........and traffic, but that's only one side.
There is a mall 2 mins walk away & there are plenty tuk-tuks available outside.
I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did, great hotel, fantastic staff!!!!!

Had a long term stay in the hotel which was provided by the my company. Rooms are pretty good and the view of the lush green forests of the RA colony is quite mesmerizing. The location of the hotel is also quite good especially if somebody needs a good hotel in northern suburbs of Mumbai. Infact, I would say that this is the best hotel north of Andheri. Also, the proximity to WE Highway helps in reaching South Bombay relatively quicker. Also, shopping avenues like the Oberoi mall is very nearby,

The service levels etc are decent. But compared to international 5/7 stars or even Oberoi/Taj etc is nothing more than average. You will certainly won't find the 'on-your-toes' service which you get used to when you stay in some of the best known names in the hospitality business. Though, it might be an unfair comparison due to the price difference. So, to summarize definitely not a bad option and perhaps the best available option in Northern Mumbai.
