We were taken for a large business dinner (14 persons) in this restaurant and have to say the ambience was nice and the setting good etc. However its as expected very expensive and the food is very good indeed. However the staff service was certainly lacking on an evening where the restaurant was not too busy and the waiter managed to pore drinks outside the glass, and knock over three glasses of drinks .. no apology just a slow clean of the mess some 5 mins after the event. Not what I would expect from such a prestigious restaurant in such a land mark.
We have been staying in "another" competitor hotel nearby as the noise of the traffic and people and the business of the front door is overpowering as it is so near the Gateway of India and in a noisy city its nice to have some tranquility.
Much prefer to go to the Taj Lands end although out the way it just seems "nicer and better" sorry !
