We stayed there for 3 weeks and enjoyed the various aspects of it. A little on the steeper side of the room rate compared to hotels in this category (internationally comparing) but other than that it was charming in all other aspects. It's biggest plus is the staff...from reception, to breakfast buffet/SOUL restaurant, to house-keeping, and all. They try hard to please and meet your needs. The room accommodations are clean and adequate. Not the most spacious but functional, even if on a bit smaller side. Bathroom was very clean. Showers were very comfortable (water pressure, hot water, etc). Always a clean set of towels was provided daily. Overall, we'd go back there again on our next trip, if we can again get a good rate. Its location close to Linking Road shopping, Bandra area, and Juhu Beach may also be plus for some. travelers.

A good place to stay, on business travel as the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The rooms are small so a but congested to move around. but all the basic amenities are available and well taken care of. The food is good and they had a decently good spread for the breakfast.

This hotel in Khar is a normal 3 star hotel located in a good position if you want also go to Bandra.
The rooms are small but well cleaned also the bath is very small but just to stay for one or two days for business can be suitable. The Oriental residency has at the first floor the restaurant and They serve e good food that can avoid to go outside for dinner. In the morning serve a breakfast specially with Indian type of food but good and typical like puri bagi and dosa. The value of money in any case is not very good

Oriental Residency is a hotel which offers value for money. The rooms are very clean and well maintained even though small in size. There is no better hotel in Khar, Mumbai. An ideal budget hotel for all travellers. It offers excellent food be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff is very friendly and polite.

Stayed twice at this hotel in last month, upon arrival at Mumbai and before departure from mumbai airport with two separate bookings. Airport pick up was arranged by the hotel but to my surprise a drop off was not provided ( which was the case two years ago when I stayed here before). The pick up was quite efficient. A cab costs about Rupees 220 to the international airport from the hotel and in the evening expect to spend an hour , although it is only about ten KM.

Reception staff is quite friendly but need more training in handling phone calls.

Premium rooms are bigger and have larger bathrooms. They were clean. Bed was comfortable
with a soft memoryfoam cushion on top. A bar fridge is a blessing in the hot and humid city.
Breakfast spread was limited but adequate. Be careful of lift doors, they close too quickly.

It is a shame they do not provide free wi-fi. (My attempts to get a mobile broadband SIM from
two private providers in Mumbai were lost in the Bureaucracy which is as bad as any government run services. Spent nearly four hours running around to get photos, letter from hotel to show where I was staying, photocopy of passport etc. and when I got to the Reliance
mobile office for the third time the queue, which Indians don't believe in, was so mismanaged I Walked away in disgust after arguing with queue jumpers in vain.)

The most positive apsect of this hotel is the location . Linking road is about 500 meters away with fast food restaurants like Mcdonald and KFC.

For the price I paid, it was better than other hotels I have stayed at in Mumbai and would happily stay here again.

Room Tip: Go for premium room which is slightly more expensive.

Chose this hotel due to Bandra having a good choice of bars and restaurants and as this was at the end of our trip, it was a short distance to the airport.

Room was fine albeit a bit on the small side. We were put on a smoking floor (although we're non-smokers) so the hallway leading to our room didn't smell particularly nice. Having said that the bed was amazingly soft!

Service wasn't brilliant as trying to get help for a taxi was a task and we were told our room had been upgraded a few hours after check in, for us to be taken to our 'new' room which was already occupied. This was then just passed off as a mistake.

Stay was just ok, so wouldn't rush back.
