We stayed there for a night on a weekend break. The hotel is a littel difficult to find if you are first tiem visitor to Mysore. the instructions from the staff and road signs were not enough.
The hotel rooms are large and comfortable. The view of the gardens from the balcony is just beautiful.
Cons- food is just about OK, unlike other Royal Orchid hotels which have excellent food. It may be because the hotel has very few guests so the F&B is not profitable for them. Overall a good place if you want to enjoy Brindavan Gardens and Mysore.

The hotel overlooks one of the most spectactular gardens in the world with water spouts and lights causing oohs and aahs when seen at night. Our stay at the hotel, however, was mared by a clueless staff whose only interest it appeared was to gouged the tourist. Internet service was spotty and over price. Staff did not know and seemed disintrested in providing any information about the history of the site or how our experience could be enhanced.

We three stayed for three days, location wise it was good but the rooms are not maintained(bed, pillows and mattress are very old and they never change the covers often).
Service wise is very bad and Breakfast is all same menu daily. Balcony is very long and wide but not cleaned.

The only USP of this hotel is its location inside Brindavan Gardens. Otherwise there isn't anything special about this hotel that warrants the high price tag.

The rooms are clean and spacious. All rooms in the first and second floor have a patio overlooking the Brindavan Gardens. So one could just get out of the hotel in the morning and take a walk in the gardens when it's empty and tourists haven't started coming in. Mysore city is a 45 min drive. So this hotel is not a great choice if you plan on spending considerable time within the city.

Breakfast is included in the price and was very average. Room service was pathetic. In one case, it took them 2 hours to get a cup of coffee which tasted awful. In contrast, the dinner buffet was pretty decent. Cost of food wasn't too high and was comparable to that of a fine dining restaurant in a city like Bangalore. Bathroom amenities were very minimal considering the price they were charging. Clearly, it was evident that the management is trying to cut corners. An important thing to note here is that the hotel doesn't have an elevator. If you are traveling with somebody that cannot climb stairs, this hotel is best avoided. The ground floor rooms don't have the kind of view that the 1st and 2nd floor rooms do.

The environment in the hotel is very informal. It's primarily a leisure property and not a business hotel. So it's family friendly and kids friendly.

If I were to make a choice again, I'd probably choose to stay at a hotel in Mysore and just visit Brindavan Gardens one evening. For whatever this hotel offers, it's just too expensive and I can stay at a much better property in Mysore City for the same price. If I were still tempted by the opportunity to stay at the Gardens, I'd restrict my stay to just one night at this hotel.
