Parklane was a good location for us as we mainly wanted to see Mysore Palace which was a short walk away (we went once during the day and once at night - separate entrances - and walked there both times). The room was plenty comfortable and clean. I was disappointed that the Wi-Fi wasn't free, though the signal strength was good.

We had an unfortunate incident occur while we were there - item stolen from our room after not properly locking the door - but luckily the hotel has security cameras in the hallways and they were able to work with police to track down the thief within a few days. The manager took the matter very seriously and made certain to get the item back to us, which was no easy task as we were traveling around so much. We appreciated his commitment to rectifying the situation and his communication with us throughout the process.

Room Tip: If you don't want two beds pushed together to make a double, make sure to specify this. We didn't mind, but I could see that for some that would be annoying and/or uncomfortable.

We stayed with our 2 year old girl for three nights. The Room & Toilet were clean. Addition to TV & AC, every room is equipped with Refrigerator, Safety locker & Hair dryer which was very useful and also during check in, a pouch containing essential items are given. Even the mattress was very comfortable, as the twin bed was converted to King size bed. My lil one enjoyed the swimming pool in the 5th Floor... Except for the service in the restaurant, all the other services were excellent, incl. room boys, reception and even the 2 watchmen who knew tamil, were very helpful in guiding. Overall, a pleasant stay....

Room Tip: Have food in Hotel Siddharta (walkable distance). Good service 'n' taste...

This hotel was clean and comfortable albeit abit tacky. The restaurant was average, we found a hair in the soup and the staff/manager did nothing. So I would not suggest eating here.

Unfortunately the 'beer garden' does not have any beer or any drinks at all, not even a bar. So I don't understand why it is called a beer garden.

Good location, and lots of complimentary toiletries on arrival. Staff were a little rude when we arrived asking to pay upon arrival or prior to seeing the room (we had reserved via booking.com).

Wifi was good but was not free 50rupees for 30minutes, can become expensive!

Staff was very helpful and courteous. The in-house restaurant food was good. Don't compare it with any five star hotel. Location is very good, Mysore Palace is very near to the hotel. Overall good value for money.

We had a day to spend in Mysore and we chose the Parklane hotel. The location is very good, it is close to all major attractions, most of the hotels in Mysore are. They arranged a cab to take us to Ranganathittu bird sanctuary, worth a visit. The roof top pool is for diehards the rooms are spacious, opening into the garden area. The rate we paid provided excellent value for money. Good for a stop over in Mysore.

Room Tip: The garden facing rooms are quieter.
