Dasprakash one of the oldest hotels in Mysore is true value for money who are not looking for the high end luxury. It is ideally located for tourists since most of the attractions are nearby. Rooms are spacious but may disappoint you with the worn out looks, also don’t expect spotless bed linen and accessories. Staff is very courteous, parking can get crowded during peek times

This hotel has an excellent view of the Mysore city. The hotel is quite close to Bangalore - Mysore highway. It is located in a very peaceful place in Yadavagiri, away from the City traffic. The hotel has very good staff who provide exceptional service to guests. Overall this hotel is among one of my first choices whenever I travel to Mysore. Give it a Try...

The Mysore Dasaprakash is a perfect one for families and who like south indian food the most. Its hospitality is so great with most of them are aged people speaking to you kindly. Right from checking in to checking out, the hotel staff are very good. They also arrange cabs for the sight seeing. So once you get in, they will take care of all your needs, food, rooms, cabs, etc. Once again it is a perfect place to stay. And above all, it is not too costly for an average middle class family.

Dasaparakash is arguably one of the oldest hotels in Mysore. My partner and I stayed in one of their AC rooms for one night and weren't entirely happy with the hotel. The bed linen wasn't clean and had tiny holes. Window panes were dusty and the room as a whole lacked neatness. Thankfully, the bathroom was clean without an Indian style toilet else I would have not checked in at all. We decided to move to another budget hotel for the next couple of days of our stay. If you are not willing to adjust to basic amenities, Dasaprakash can be avoided. Else it is quite alright, value for money with spacious AC rooms and an air conditioner that works well!

The lunch thali at the restaurant was very good. That is the main plus point of this hotel.

I loved the place because of the way it is built.. lotsa space in the lobby.. Me being from Mumbai tat was a relief!! And the bathtub in the hotel room was an added advantage to actually relax after a day s work.. Spacious rooms wit a great view!
