“A small, but good temple in Mysore”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 2, 2014

A must visit place in Mysore. The way to Chamundi hills is quite scenic and the mountains provide a good view of mysore. The Gopuram/temple shrine is visible from many places in mysore. Preferably visit during morning by 7am/ eve after 5.30 pm.

“Nice Temple”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2014

This is the the second time i am visiting the place. We stopped on our way back to Bangalore from coorg. There are 3 different type of darshan here but i took the free darshan queque as it was less thronged. We had a nice darshan of the amba and we started our descend immediately.
The darshan ticket counters and the prasada are located very nearby to the temple. One should drive uphill during monsoon or winter season to enjoy the best weather.

During the winter, the the place was fully covered up with mist and i couldn't even see the person standing near me. One can view mysore city from the hill.

“Nice drive up the hill”

Loved the awesome drive up the hill, nice temple
Hated the queue with no lighting inside, poor crowd management - could not get to catch a decent glimpse of deity
