“Amazing hotel”
Reviewed November 2, 2013

After pack backing around India, it was very nice experience when we stayed in this amazing hotel. It is quite expensive, but you get exactly what you pay for. Very nice breakfast, pool, rooms are clean, fitness center etc. Staff was extremely helpful - we had a problem with our train tickets and they solved our problem as fast as they could. Good location as well.

after a brief period after trident chennai I visited Mysore last week ,i stayed at sandesh the prince hotel Mysore a small multi storied hotel . I was on a meeting .rooms are neet and tidy instead of wooden flooring here I saw the granite flooring that offer a little bit cold wave to my feet. reception side is extremely nice and pleasant, only one elevator was available ,so at times to wait a few minutes one more lift would have been better but it is overcome by the hospitality, very enthusiastic employees they will be automatically appear where we needed , couple of times I experienced it. in the room they offered coffee maker, compliment drinking water there is only one window available , so there is no cross ventilation stay is comfortable standard newspapers are available and they supplied newspaper of our choice
Dining hall is spacious all the food items are available what I tasted is tasty and delicious. the bar is directly open to dining hall but we can sit in the bar with full privacy

There is very little one can fault with hotel, staff is attentive and courteous, rooms are neat and tidy, lobby is small but breakfast is amazingly large and a good spread. We ordered some food in the room, which was standard too.

The break fast is awesome . There is a swiming pool to relax .
The room service is not that good , . And problems with Hot / cold water is common in all washrooms of the hotel .

We stayed at this hotel during the independence Day holiday. It is well located, very close to Palace and Zoo. The hotel has two wings, one looks like the older unrestored wing, the other is the new wing which is very impressive. The rooms were large and neat. We ordered coffee in the room a couple of times, but got varying rates (80 for a pot in the morning and 180 in the afternoon). I couldn't figure that out and wanted to ask them but forgot. The restaurant is good but expensive, a meal for 4 without alcohol can easily cost over 2K.

The one issue that I had is the parking, which is inadequate. There is space for around 20 cars, if you miss out (like we did), you have to park out on the road.
