Reviewed November 11, 2013

Had been here for lunch with friends . The ambience is superb , centrally located and the food is just too good . You ask and its served . Perfect Gobi Manchuri , Paneer sabzi with roti and lime soda . All in all a great experience and it was not expensive either . A must visit if your in mysore .

“Another good place on Sri Harsha Road”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

I don't agree with the previous opinion. As we wanted to check a different restaurant than Parklane Hotel (already dined there) we chose Red Pepper on the same street. We checked the menu and risked a bit as we were only guests what usually is not a good sign. However we found food to be very tasty.
Sweet corn soup with chicken, punjabi chicken and chinese garlic chicken plus some Indian bread - all were good, especially the main dishes. No alcohol is served here and I think that's the main reason tourists flock at nearby Parklane. Also not much ambience at Red Pepper. But if you're ok with non-alco drinks this place is equally good for a meal. Bill came to 600 rupees for two persons.

“Ghastly food !!!”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

Going to this restaurant can be counted as one of the worst decisions of my life.the food was very unappetising and weird...imagine putting ripe bananas, apples, cucumber and cherries in american chopsuey..when we asked the manager the reason behind putting bananas in a Chinese preparation and if he could reprepare the dish..we were told in a very curt and rude manner that this was the way things were done in Mysore and he will not do anything about it.the manager In charge was quite rude and a bit hostile in his approach.we would not suggest anyone to go to this restaurant if they are looking for Chinese cuisine.this is certainly not the case here.
