Kamat has offered great Indian food wherever I've visited the restaurant. This is no exception. Often there is classical music on an evening, the food and service is of the highest quality. great atmosphere and clean.

Proximate to Mysore palace, Lalit Mahal, Datta Avadootha peetham, chamundi hills and first and best one when entering Mysore from Nanjangude is this wonderful restaurant. Nice ambiance, reasonable price welcome u. Jola roti, Methi (fenugreek leaves) are special here. Unlimited food is served which is very rare. kind and quick service too. Never miss.

I had been here with my extended family for lunch.

I ordered what Kamat is famous for - the rotti made from Jola (corn) along with the brinjal 'engaai' as what it is called. It started pouring heavily whivh made the hot rotti all the more delicious. Fruit salad was not that great as it was very sweet since the fruits were soaked in sugar water. In all, a good experience. Staff as always, in all Kamat restaurants, were dressed in the traditional kurta and dhoti.
