The Green Hotel was our first hotel that we stayed in for our 17 day India trip. We were pleased. Very pleasant and professional service and the hotel is very clean. We were delayed with our flight for over 24 hours and did not receive our luggage. The manager of the hotel spent alot of time on the phone helping us contact airlines and arrange for our luggage retrieval. Very pleasant and patient. The staff are all smiles and eager to help.
We were pleasantly surprised with the restaurant. We had a fabulous lunch, beautifully presented in copper casseroles. The wait staff are friendly and professional.We had garden rooms and these were very spacious and airy and did not need AC. The rooms were nicely furnished with extra tables chairs and seating area. Beds all over asia are usually hard, but I love hard beds. Quality bedding. We enjoyed the more remote location, but we had a car and driver. We recommend the gift shop - there were some nice things sold under "fair trade" principles.
FYI there are power outages everywhere, and you will likely experience them during your stay. I think the time of the outage is known, so I suggest you ask the front desk when to expect them.More
