I stayed here with my hubby and kiddo for 2 nights. After quiet some research I had chosen this place, certainly paid off. About 4 kms from the palace, not a problem since I had my car with me. Excellent rooms: big in size, thoughtfully done, with clean and comfortable bed, sofa, study table, tv, balcony, coffee maker etc. Big toilets, with hot water, toiletries etc. large parking places and enough space for a stroll, restaurants, pubs. Food is of great taste. In room dining open from 7am to 11pm everyday. They have few birds in their campus which could interest the kids.

On the down side, staff is not too friendly, services are bit lousy. Limited options in the complimentary breakfast. No tissue papers in the toilets.

I liked my stay in this nice and pocket friendly hotel. Would recommend if one is not too particular about the staff service.

On the western edge of Mysore city, Ruchi is a very good place for a short stay. In local language Ruchi means taste. I must admit that the gardens, the buildings and the food - all are really made in good taste. Food is very good. Rooms are very clean and well equipped. The garden around the hotel makes the place great. In the evening, one can enjoy a drink or dinner on the open gardens in front which has a "taste"ful lighting system. Another good thing about its location is that there is no traffic noise to trouble you and you can have a good sleep through out the night.

Room Tip: I would prefer Ground floor rooms.

Went to this hotel on a weekend. Decided to go to this hotel after looking at all the positive reviews. Chose this hotel over Ginger Hotel and Country Inn and Suites since the price is pretty reasonable compared to the other two.

Location: Off Hunsur road. Just a 15-20 minute drive from city center. Mysore is a small city, and this hotel doesn't appear to be far from the city center. There are some hotel bang at the city center like united 21, but they cannot match the ambience and service quality of Ruchi.

Go to this hotel if you have your own transport. We took our car, and hence it was comfortable for us.

It cost us around 1.8k including taxes and other charges for a night's stay. I found this much better than 3k of Ginger Hotel, and around 2.5k of Country Inn.

The room is spacious enough for a couple, and non-AC room is more than sufficient for Mysore weather. Room service is good. The bathroom is hygienic. Wish they provided toilet paper too. Hot water is available 24x7. Bed is decent enough. a 21-inch TV is kept in the room with program guide listing the channel numbers. A wardrobe is provided to keep the luggage and clothes.

We ordered for in-room dining for lunch, dinner, and breakfast. Total cost of in-room dining came to 2k for us. The food quality is excellent, and can be compared to any classy restaurant in Bangalore.

They serve dinner on the lawn. We never used this service, but the restaurant lawn was crowded on Saturday evening with many high-profile visitors.

Don't be afraid to go this hotel. I'm very particluar about hygiene, and I can vouch for the hygiene and service quality of this hotel.

Room Tip: Non-AC room is sufficient since Mysore weather is generally good throughout the year

This a relatively new hotel and is well maintained. Designed and planned well too. Basic facilities - nothing fancy, no luxury. Clean rooms n bathrooms. Comes with a double bed, tv, ac, sofa, wardrobe, changing room and a balcony. Approx. Rs.2000 for double occupancy with complimentary breakfast. Located on Hunsur road - towards the outskirts of the city. Having your own vehicle is preferable. Public transport is hard to come by in the vicinity. Has a large lawn which is used as a dining area in the evenings. There's a pub too - Venom. A multicuisine indoor restaurant serves veg food - average quality. The service is slow but staff are obliging.

The rooms are good, clean & tidy. Also has an ample balcony fair enough for a couple to sit, which I liked the most. No special views from the balcony though , just the road. Is located around 6 km from the station which is ok but it's in such a location where there is no proper means of transport. More a highway. Unless with a car, have to wait for long to get an auto.
The hospitality is good but the service is a bit slow. Don't know why it took 0.5 hrs to get me a bottle of water.

Hotel is good, location and ambience is good but lacks quality and service. It was good moments for kids but for elders it was not upto the mark.

Prices are costly. Room rent is costly compared to hotels in the city.

Overall an average experience. Good for friends for asitting for a drink.

The hotel is very good, but the location is such that one needs private transport. The food was all right. A nice park is present inside the hotel complex. It is hard to get an auto, and one has to walk about 500m for an auto stand.
