Don't be fooled by the hype of Bridavan gardens. Absolutely nothing there. 1St of all it is far from the city, about 35 kms. Then we heard that a light and sound show will begun from 7 pm. Well, the show began 20 mins late, we all have to sit on the dirty floor, then the much awaited show began. The show was a total flop, just a small fountain, with rubbish lightings around. The music was also very poor, just some pathetic songs from hindi movies. The only good thing is the kaveri dam .Overall just worst experience going there, just a waste of money and time

We were totally disappointed as it was far below our expectations. Just 3-4 kinds of flowers in such a large garden. People eat and throw garbage here and there everywhere ! - making it filthy. All the beauty is lost.
Moreover the musical fountain in the evening is very old fashioned, nothing new or upgraded. Other places have developed far better fountains. Tremendous crowd and mismanagement by the authorities create a havoc.
Avoid it absolutely as not worth to travel so far and spend that much time.

a large, nice, well planned and well maintained garden. it is clean in spite of scores of travelers. time can be passed simply sitting in the garden.
