It's a nice but steep 30 minute walk up to the temple. The views from the top are amazing as is the huge statue. Beware of the monkeys though. We hired a walking stick from a shop at the bottom for Rs. 10 to keep the monkeys away. We didn't go in to the temple at the top as we saw a monkey steal someone's shoes from the shoe store and didn't want ours to be stolen but it looks nice from the outside.

Its the highest peak in Shimla but not much is visible from there due to the green cover. It is a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman who is supposed to have rested here while bringing the Sanjeevani Booty for Laxman ji. The monkeys are a menace here and one should be very careful. There is a 108 feet tall idol of Hanuman ji which is visible from the Ridge and Mall road. It was inaugrated by Abhishek Bachchan.

It is the highest peak in SHimla but not much visible from there. Monkeys are a menace there and the temple is dedicated to lord Hanuman. There is a foot impression of Hanuman Ji nearby. The sanctuary behind the temple is worth a visit for nature lovers.
