“Amazing”
Review of Tara Devi Temple

The trek and the summit is amazing especially in the monsoon time, and the number of visitors are minimum. I could count only five, including the temple priests, when I went there.
The place was unreal, there was only us and the clouds, nothing else, made you believe in God. I would advise people to do the trek, don't go by car or bus, unless you have to, otherwise you will miss all the fun.

If you want to go on a day trek, taradevi is the place in shimla for that. take shimla-kalka toy train from shimla and get down at Taradevi station (3rd stop). from Taradevi station, follow the trekking trail to the mandir.

The trekking trail traverse through ranges of Himalayan mountains with spectacular view of the slopes and the clouds descending through them. Stop by at certain locations to rejuvenate with fresh rain water that seeps through the rocks. The trekking trail is completely safe for family or couples.

You can take the same trail to return to the Taradevi station, or take a taxi from the road side to reach Shimla.

Tara Devi Temple is one of my favourites. I really like to visit there with my family. it's located at the top of the hill. I have visited there many times. The view from the temple is very amazing.

Take a car ride up.
Walk back from the trail through the forest from the temple to the road and take a train ride back to Shimla from the Tara Devi station.
